It features both countryside scenery and continuous distant mountains, creating an overall excellent environment. The hot springs here are particularly famous, with various hot spring homestays and hotels. In addition to old buildings, Sanhe Daoli also has 10 newly constructed buildings, including a series of public spaces such as Sanhe Academy, the all-day restaurant You Tian, the bar Night Hill, the Chinese restaurant Rice Barn, a wellness center, and numerous scenic guest rooms, all complementing the old houses. The village's pathways have also been adjusted to make it easier for everyone to navigate between the new and old areas, allowing guests to rediscover the joy of wandering through the streets and alleys and gain more exploration fun. Covering an area of 28 acres, the hotel was designed by hia, including the renovation of 17 old houses and the construction of 10 new buildings. The hotel lobby is surrounded by dozens of acres of rice fields. Having lived in the city for a lifetime, this is the first time I truly smelled the fragrance of rice coming from the fields. Once you enter the hotel from the lobby building, you are greeted by a scene where ancient courtyards and houses blend with modernity. The room I stayed in this time was an ancient house duplex suite with an area of about 180 square meters, located in the hotel's ancient house renovation area. The entire suite is a typical traditional Guangzhou-style residence with a three-room and two-corridor layout. The first floor of the suite consists of a cloakroom/bathroom area/private bath, washroom/bedroom/small courtyard, and living room/dining room. The bedroom and living room on the first floor are separated by partitions, making the space more spacious. What's more surprising is that in Guangdong, the hotel rooms are all equipped with floor heating. This suite has a separate dining room on the first floor, and the hotel's minibar is also located here. It is equipped with local tea leaves and tea sets, Nespresso coffee machine, etc. The minibar is free and includes local soft drinks, regular carbonated beverages, and sparkling water. The attic space on the second floor of the hotel has also been made into a separate room, equipped with a slightly smaller 1.8m bed. But I really love the glass ceiling, whether it's the sunlight shining on me during the day or looking at the starry sky when the weather is cool.
