Montego Bay: Dunn's River Falls
Located in Ocho Rios near Montego Bay, Dunn's River Falls is one of Jamaica's iconic natural attractions. It is made up of multiple layers of limestone steps, with water cascading down the mountain to form a spectacular waterfall with a total drop of 180 meters. Legend has it that this was once a sacred site for the ancient indigenous people, who believed that the water had magical healing powers.
Opening Hours
Open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Recommended visit time: 3–4 hours. Note: The rocks in the waterfall area are slippery, so be careful when walking and wear non-slip shoes. Follow the guide's instructions and pay attention to safety when climbing the waterfall. Those who are unwell or have special medical conditions should be cautious about participating.

Adult tickets are USD 25, with discounts for children. Ticket prices have not changed recently.

After the activity, you can buy souvenirs in the shops or enjoy delicious food in the restaurants around the waterfall to relax.
Transportation
From Montego Bay, you can take a tour bus directly to Dunn's River Falls, which takes about 1.5 hours. You can also rent a car and drive along the coastal highway, enjoying the beautiful sea views along the way.

Preparation
Bring a valid ID such as an ID card or passport. Prepare a set of quick-drying clothes and a towel to change into after climbing the waterfall. A waterproof bag is also essential to protect your phone, camera, and other electronic devices so you can take photos during your visit.
