🏨Sala Rattanakosin Bangkok - A Tranquil Place by the Chao Phraya River🇹🇭
📍39 Maharat Road, Rattanakosin Island, Bangkok
Staying at Sala Rattanakosin Bangkok by the Chao Phraya River was truly an unforgettable experience🌟. The hotel is in a prime location by the legendary Chao Phraya River, offering views of the famous Wat Arun and the Grand Palace🏯. Wat Pho and Wat Arun are within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for first-time visitors to Bangkok🚶♂️.
After getting off the plane, you can take a taxi or the subway to the hotel, and then walk for a few minutes to reach it. We received a warm welcome from the front desk, and the staff spoke excellent English, making communication a breeze👍. They even helped us with our luggage, which was one of the most thoughtful services I've ever encountered😊.
Upon entering the hotel, you can feel the strong modern and industrial design. It's clear that every detail has been carefully thought out, especially the large floor-to-ceiling windows that are hard to look away from. The room is simple and elegant, with plenty of space, and the view outside the window is captivating, especially at night when the lights of Wat Arun across the river create a dreamlike atmosphere🌌.
During our stay, we chose a room overlooking the Chao Phraya River. The room was spacious and bright, with clean and comfortable bedding. The breathtaking view of the Chao Phraya River was incredibly healing, and we even got to see the rehearsal for the river coronation ceremony, which was truly awe-inspiring🏞️.
The hotel's restaurant is a highlight, offering not only Thai cuisine but also a variety of international dishes. The breakfast is not a buffet, but a Chao Praya breakfast that you can order, allowing you to enjoy a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes while gazing at Wat Arun. The rooftop bar offers a wide view, and sipping a Thai craft beer while watching the sunset is a delightful experience🍹.
The nearby attractions are also worth mentioning. Wat Pho is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, and it's within walking distance. Don't miss the 108 auspicious patterns inlaid with mother-of-pearl shells🕍. If you want to take a break, sitting in a riverside café and enjoying some quiet time is a great choice. If you have time, you can also explore nearby restaurants like SEEN Restaurant & Bar Bangkok and Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, which are paradises for food lovers🍽️.
Overall, Sala Rattanakosin Bangkok is a perfect blend of fashion and tranquility, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the charm of Bangkok. If you're looking for a hotel with a great location and excellent service, this is definitely a great choice🌟. A must-stay in Bangkok, highly recommended!
