🤗🌼 Throughout our opulent vacation, I embarked on a captivating odyssey to the vibrant city of Japan. The advent of spring bestowed upon the surroundings an ethereal charm, transforming the area into a veritable paradise. Meandering through Sakura Furusato Square, we were enveloped in a refreshing ambiance that invigorated our spirits. Enveloped by picturesque landscapes in this tranquil haven, we were spellbound by the extraordinary vistas that never failed to leave an indelible mark on our souls.
Sakura Furusato Square in Chiba prefecture, near Tokyo, is renowned for its vibrant flowers throughout the year. During the summer season, from July 8 to 23, the area will be filled with a stunning display of sunflowers surrounding a traditional Dutch windmill. The Windmill Sunflower Garden features approximately 15,000 sunflowers, creating a picturesque sea of bright yellow blooms that extend as far as the eye can see. Among the various types of sunflowers present, Vincent's Choice stands out as a highlight. This particular variety is named after the renowned Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, known for his iconic sunflower paintings.

Beat the heat by visiting Saranka, a souvenir shop at Sakura Furusato Square. Indulge in refreshing kakigori shaved ice dessert and delicious soft-serve ice cream made with local milk from Sakura city. While there, you can also browse through a variety of mementoes and local vegetables.
Sakura Furusato Square is conveniently located just a 30-minute walk away from Keisei-Usui Station. To get there from Tokyo Station, take the JR Sobu line to Funabashi and then transfer to the Keisei Main line. The journey takes approximately one hour.
This opulent and captivating getaway has truly etched itself into the recesses of my mind. The delight of revisiting and savouring every moment in this one-of-a-kind haven is incomparable. 🌸💮🌼#mytravelhacks #historicallandmarks #localguides #familytrip
