Nihonji Tenbodai located in Chiba prefecture. I climbed the mountain on foot because the cable cannot be used for a windy day. On foot climbing took around 1:30hr for one route and it’s easy to climb ever though you’re a beginner climber. But take a notice that there is no water supply or food store along the climbing. Its name literally translates as "Saw Mountain" and if you look at it from a distance, the mountain ridge with its wooded peaks and depressions does somewhat remind me of a traditional Japanese saw. You can take the train to JR Hama - Kanaya Station and walk to the ropeway up to upper mid way of the mountain. Be prepared to climb a lot and I mean ALOT if stairs. But the view is worth it. Yasuda Elementary School Roadside Station A closed elementary school has been reborn as a roadside station. There's a restaurant where you can get nostalgic school lunches, and a market selling souvenirs and vegetables from Chiba Prefecture. You can even stay overnight in a classroom! 2. Banya Main Building A restaurant run directly by the Yasuda Fisheries Cooperative that serves delicious fresh fish. Recommended dish for the day is boiled golden-eyed snapper. The fluffy flesh and sweet and spicy broth go great with rice. 3. Traycle A cafe that uses a 100-year-old nationally registered tangible cultural property. The tree-shaped muffin on the seasonal menu is made with matcha and black sesame cream. 7. Okamoto Pier A pier famous as a filming location.
