Lovely hotel in Saint-Malo
#GetDiscountWithoutLuck
Hotel Bristol Union is a small local hotel in Saint-Malo, Brittany (Bretagne) in northwestern France. The hotel is located in the middle of the Great Gate (The Great Gate) facing the port and parking lot and St. Vincent Cathedral de Saint-Malo. The city inside the walls is not very big. You can walk around and explore everywhere. No matter where you stay, it is not much different. But since this side is closer to the parking lot and the train station, I chose it because it is convenient to carry my luggage.
In terms of atmosphere, it is like a small local hotel. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor next to the reception area in front. Although it is small, it is decorated with leather and fabric furniture. It plays with chic colors. It looks cozy.
****-Breakfast-****
Because it is a small hotel The food line looks small but complete, emphasizing the Continental Breakfast style as follows:
➡️ Cereals – are ready-made and can be pressed to your liking.
➡️ Bread – there are many types such as Croissants, Baguettes, Buns, and both plain and sweet sliced bread. The quality is medium and enjoyable to eat. As for the dipping sauces such as butter, jam, honey, Nutella…etc., they have it all.
➡️ Crêpe – because Brittany is famous for crepes (the famous Breton crêpes), the hotel has to provide crepes to please tourists. They are ready-made and ready to be picked up. They look like soft crepes like dessert crepes. I think they intend to have honey or Maple Syrup poured over them. But I happened to glance at the fruit corner and saw a banana of a good size. The skin is a beautiful yellow color without any blemishes, looking delicious. So I cut it up and put it in a crepe and smeared it with Nutella.
➡️ Fruits – There are bananas, oranges, apples, and pears, all of which are well-selected and have beautiful skins.
➡️ Ham/Cheese – They look like mid-range items that you can find in any supermarket, but they’re okay.
➡️ Drinks – There are ready-made juices that you can get from a vending machine. The coffee is freshly brewed and served to you. It’s definitely more fragrant and delicious than coffee from a vending machine.
Overall, it’s a simple, small breakfast with average quality. It’s good enough for people who like the atmosphere of a local hotel. If you’re visiting this city, you can stop by.
