Old Market, Safranbolu, Turkey.
Safranbolu is located in the Karabuk province of the Black Sea region of Turkey and has been an important caravan base on the East-West trade route since the Middle Ages. The old town of Crocus is not only a World Cultural Heritage site but also a historical site that should not be missed when traveling to Turkey. It is home to thousands of old Ottoman-style houses and red roofs that have been preserved, making every corner very interesting, and it is a small town suitable for a leisurely stroll and exploring various alleys.
You can go to Hidirlik Hill, the most beautiful place to view the market residence and the village, and enjoy the romance of a quiet mountain village. The old mosque next to the market is a favorite viewpoint for tourists, and personally, I think a one-night, two-day stay is more suitable for walking around the Otaki district and shopping in the narrow alleys along the winding hills.
