Checking in for trendy play, I'm flying a plane in Taiyanggong at the TaxiWay Flight Center!
I always wanted to peek into the mysterious cockpit every time I disembarked from a plane, but it was against the rules, so I never got the chance.
While strolling through the mall, I stumbled upon a flight experience center where you can not only see the cockpit but also have a professional instructor guide you through the experience of piloting an aircraft. Taxiway Flight Center has two 1:1 scale faithfully recreated simulator cabins, replicating the cockpit of the American Boeing models. After inquiring, I decided to give it a try. To enhance the immersive feeling of piloting, you need to change into a captain's uniform before entering the cockpit, which adds a full sense of ceremony.
I fly often, but piloting a plane was a first for me. When I entered the cockpit, I was shocked by all the parts above, so many buttons and displays! The windows in front of the cockpit are relatively small, but the view is excellent. Closing the cabin door, I immersed myself in the joy of flying.
The professional instructor will guide you on how to read the display information, check the flight speed, altitude, use the cross-point method to control the course, push the joystick, retract the landing gear, and raise the steering wheel for takeoff. For landing, you visually align with the runway, reduce speed, lower the landing gear, and lower the steering wheel for a smooth touchdown, giving me a complete experience of the plane's takeoff and landing process. It was amazing, and the instructor was very patient, answering all questions.
Dressed in the captain's uniform, sitting in the cockpit, flying the plane through the clouds, soaring over the city, experiencing the beauty of the world from a pilot's perspective, and enjoying a realistic flying experience, the realism was maxed out, it was truly 'Thai cool'!
