Shenzhen Shekou Ruby Hotel Review
Originally booked a homestay in Shekou, but was shocked when I arrived. The house seemed to have been unoccupied for a long time, and the door was unlocked. So I urgently looked for another place to stay.
This hotel is located in the Nanhai E-Cool area, which was originally a place I wanted to visit. The hotel is not far from Sea World and Shekou Old Street, and you can get there quickly by bike.
The hotel is newly opened, and the room is very clean. I was worried about bugs, but there were none. The bedding and bath towels are nice. There is a slight smell, but you can open the window easily. The room offers complimentary drinks, coffee, etc. You can also request a daily care package with a razor if needed.
The lobby and restaurant on the first floor have an industrial style, and you can see many old items in the elevator, which is very nostalgic.
The room has a Marshall speaker with Bluetooth connection, and the sound quality is good. Open the curtains, enjoy the breeze, and listen to music. It's very relaxing.
There is a self-service laundry room, but I'm not used to using washing machines outside, so I hand-washed my clothes.
Since it was the Lunar New Year, there were few guests, so it wasn't noisy. The bar on the first floor wasn't noisy at night either, but I'm not sure about peak season.
The hotel offers breakfast, which I will introduce in detail in a separate post.
