It was a short weekend getaway to Leeds, UK. We started our trip in Leeds by exploring the vibrant city center. We visited the Leeds Art Gallery, which boasts an impressive collection of 19th and 20th-century art. It’s a large, scenic park perfect for a leisurely walk or a picnic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the flavors were incredibly rich and satisfying. The museum houses an impressive collection of arms and armor from various periods and cultures. We were particularly intrigued by the medieval and oriental collections. We also visited Henry Moore Institute, which is dedicated to the study and display of sculpture. The exhibitions are always changing, providing a fresh experience with each visit. Had an amazing time at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, UK. The armours are well taken care of and the the displays are breath taking. Took me 4 hours to go through everything in the museum and and left because I had dinner plans. There are plays and re-enactments for the kids and plenty of souvenirs and merchandise at the the end of your perusal. Definitely would love to go back if I have the chance.
