Rovaniemi Airport is a small airport, about 10 km north of Rovaniemi city centre, however this airport is the third busiest airport in Finland. During winter season, this airport become the busiest airport in Finland, because Rovaniemi airport is the main access to Lapland region, and it's the peak season during winter time. There are eleven destination from 7 countries fly in and out directly from this airport. My flight was fly from Istanbul directly to Rovaniemi airport. Upon I landed in this airport, There are flights from London, Canada and Eastern Europe also reached this airport. Although is busiest airport, the ambience in here is simple and less fancy.
