This small and beautiful restaurant was a chance discovery on Instagram. Thai Harper's Bazaar shot a Gucci campaign here, and many Thai influencers have posted photos of it. The restaurant is small, but the interior is retro and exquisite. There are several nice riverside restaurants opposite Wat Arun: Rongros, Arun, and Sala. I didn't expect to have to book at least a week in advance. A few years ago, Rongros was a niche restaurant where you could walk in. I was careless. . I randomly asked Eat Sight Story next to Sala. I didn't expect to get a one-hour C-seat meal as a walk-in. I just finished watching the whole sunset and saw Wat Arun light up. For a moment, it was like watching a 3D fantasy movie. . The restaurant's food is not exquisite, but it tastes really good. My local Thai friends brought me to the Rongros, one of the best Thai eateries with the prestigious Michelin listed, it located by the riverbank of Chao Phraya, Bangkok. My friend did the reservation in advance cause it's a popular eatery. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavours and spices, and beautifully presented. ⏩Must try: Watermelon & Aromatie Crispy Snakehead Fish, Palo Egg Stew, Fried Spring Rolls, Vermicelli Salad with Minced Pork, Peanuts & Dried Shrimp, and Phat Thai with Prawns. ⏩The eatery has indoor & outdoor seated, chic decoe with an awesome ambience, excellence food quality with reasonable price, you could admires the spectacular sunset view of Wat Arun Temple while having meal! Had a chance to eat at Rong Ros, a riverside Thai restaurant at Tha Tien, another restaurant that guarantees its deliciousness with a Michelin Guide award. The restaurant is not very big, with both indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor area also offers a beautiful view of Wat Arun. I recommend booking in advance because there are a lot of both Thai and foreign customers. We didn't make a reservation, but came when the restaurant opened, so we were able to sit upstairs 1 hour before the reservation time. The view is really beautiful. I would say that this is the best Thai restaurant with a beautiful view of Wat Arun. The indoor area is also beautiful. The restaurant is small but cozy. The food is delicious and the taste is perfect. I recommend the Rong Ros fried rice, which is beautifully made and extremely delicious. The staff here provides excellent service. Everyone is great. I recommend the menu, pour the water, and take good care of everyone. I'm very impressed. The location was primarily what attracted us to Rongros. It's by the riverside and you get a beautiful view of wat Arun, the boats passing by and sunsets can be lovely. Food quality is good however the menu choice is not as wide as other Thai restaurants.It also appears somewhat tight. Given its location, they get quite a lot of customers and there is space for say about 20-30 people at once. So the space shrinks quickly and you feel like it's too close to each other. You can choose to sit indoor or outdoor if you can make advance booking. The outdoors especially the rooftop has the best view. We visited it twice. Once during the day and once around the sunset for dinner. Both times the ambience was lovely. Rongros at BKK near grand palace This place has AMAZING view, it’s highly recommended by one of our friend from Thailand for their amazing view. We are glad that we made a reservation and was given a really good seat just next to the window, we enjoyed the grand palace view and it’s so beautiful! The ambience here is definitely 5 stars! The food here are nice as well, some are 1 Michelin star dishes, eg pineapple fried rice, tempura morning glory and more.. my family enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. It’s so fragrant! My favourite here is the fried morning glory, love the dipping sauce as well!! They have interesting cocktails here with very affordable price, we also enjoyed our mock tail here. We ordered the watermelon dish as dessert, it’s very interesting. Can you imagine juicy sweet watermelon with pork floss? Very interesting experience :) the Thai green curry with prata is nice as well, not too spicy but it’s yummy! Highly recommend to make a reservation before coming, there are indoors and outdoors seats here. Enjoy!
