ROKU Kyoto LXR Hotel…where dreams are made☁️
We decided to book a short trip via Trip.com to Japan and it was nothing short of miraculous. This was my wife’s first trip to Japan and she’s already talking about going back again soon. She’s hooked on the food, culture and atmosphere! I’ve traveled a lot within my life but I can honestly tell you that this is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll post a video soon showing you exactly why… If you’re into being surrounded by nature with a touch of luxury, please keep this hotel in mind when booking a trip to Kyoto. #hilton #japan #kyoto

🏠ROKU KYOTO is the first hotel of Hilton's luxury brand LXR in the Asia-Pacific region.
⛰Located at the foot of Mount Hidari Daimonji in Kyoto, adjacent to Aman, it is a secluded and private resort in Kyoto. It is only a ten-minute walk from Kinkaku-ji Temple, and other ancient temples such as Kōetsu-ji and Genkō-an are also within walking distance, making it a hidden paradise in the ancient capital.
🌿The design of ROKU KYOTO seamlessly blends modern and traditional Japanese aesthetics with the warmth of nature, commemorating the history and essence of the Kyoto area where the hotel is located.
🍀At the entrance of the hotel stands a 400-year-old Japanese cedar tree, which is also a signature theme of the hotel, creating an open and tranquil atmosphere.

Our stay at ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts, though brief, left an indelible mark with its unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly greeted in a sitting area with a cup of hot tea and a delightful Japanese dessert. Ray facilitated our check-in, and a kind lady (whose name escapes me) escorted us to our room, introducing us to the facilities along the way.
As Diamond members, we were given the option to choose between a higher floor room or a ground level room with a private, small garden. Opting for the latter, we were delighted with our choice. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring two separate sinks in opposite locations, a standing shower in between, and a deep, expansive bathtub in the living/tea room overlooking the garden.
Situated in a picturesque spot, the resort boasts a heated outdoor pool surrounded by lush green mountains and trees. The architecture seamlessly blends traditional Japanese style with a modern twist, creating a harmonious and seemingly perfect combination. The public areas, including the garden, water pond, pool, and tea room, exude beauty, elegance, and classic charm.
Being in a remote area, the hotel lacks nearby restaurants or convenience stores. However, we dined at the on-site Italian restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The buffet-style breakfast, coupled with the option to choose a main course from their menu, was satisfactory but not exceptional.
Overall, the service and the hotel itself were top-notch. We found ourselves wishing we could have extended our stay to fully savor the facilities and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of this remarkable retreat. Highly recommended for those seeking a memorable and luxurious getaway.

This establishment is truly a haven of relaxation. The staff exudes warmth and goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. The overall ambiance is nothing short of breathtaking. It's advisable to secure reservations for the restaurant, spa, and thermal pool well in advance to make the most of your visit. As night falls, the celestial display of stars above adds a touch of magic to the experience. Don't forget to explore the enchanting garden, which becomes accessible for guests by simply presenting your room key.overall IT awesome
