Travelled all the way to the island west just to check out @rockwagyuhk, which was totally worth it! We were lucky we had reservations because this small 🇯🇵 restaurant fills up fast. We even spotted a few eager folks waiting outside (probably HKU students getting their 10% off deal). Their menu is a wagyu lover's dream, offering various cuts and flavors of A4 wagyu that you can cook to your liking on your own stone grill. The only downside was that the seating arrangement was a bit too cozy and the tables were on the smaller side, especially when you order their set menu. For just $48, you get a tasty salad, clam soup, rice with seaweed and egg, and a refreshing soft drink. Adding an extra $18, we upgraded one of our drinks to the instaworthy 𝗙𝘂𝗷𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗼𝗱𝗮 (normally priced at $36) #forthegram of course 𝗔𝟰 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝘆𝘂 𝗥𝗶𝗯 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽 $𝟭𝟲𝟴 There are 3 mouthwatering ways to enjoy the thinly cut pieces of wagyu meat, which were already very rich and beefy on its own 1.
