No need to walk, take a boat to tour the zoo
The part I'm most looking forward to at the River Ecology Park is this boat tour of the zoo. The attraction of sitting the whole time without walking is too great. It would be even better if the entire park could be toured by boat, haha.
📷📷📷📷
There are quite a few animals on both sides of the river, large flocks of flamingos, cute lesser pandas, and capybaras!! Monkeys scurry through the trees, and it's stunning to see jaguars up close. There are also South American tapirs and anteaters, which are not commonly seen in our country, and so on.

River Wonders Singapore!

Hey there, we made a trip to the River Wonders! If you wanna see Lele the baby Panda and red panda in action and up close, this is the place to go! Animal lovers do not miss! Eat the cutest panda bao here!
We loooved the huge gigantic river aquarium with lots of different types of river animals. We spent a good 20 minutes just chilling and watching the animals swim. The River wonders has got its walkways 90% sheltered, you need not worry about the hot temperature nor the rainy weather! The area is cooled with huge fans all around. We missed the animal show as we did not plan our route prior! Parents also do take note that the minimum height for the payable automated boat ride is 110cm
Nonetheless, river wonders offered young children a great time and opportunity to learn about conservation of environment and animals. Its educational value is not to be missed.
River wonders is located at 🚩80 Mandai Lake Road, Singapore 729826. It is accessible by taking a destinated shuttle bus from Khatib Station.

Le Le's Two-riffic Birthday!!
Our local born panda Le Le just celebrated his 2 years old birthday on 14 August! He has grown considerably and no longer small sized. He can now be displayed without his mum and look at that sleeping pose!! 🤣🤣
Activities to celebrate his birthday at River Wonders included getting a Le Le party hat, learning more about panda at the station outside the Giant Panda Forest, meet and greet with panda mascots family, making own stick puppet of Le Le and of course trying to spot Le Le in his exhibit. Not sure what time he comes out but this was about 11.30am when i snapped a photo of him lying around. The programmes is still available on 2 to 10 September but most things are given out early. So do try to come at opening hour.

Wonderful Trip to Singapore River Wonders
#mysgmemories
It was such a wonderful memory of our visit to Singapore River Wonders. My favourite attraction is the Giant Panda Forest, home to Singapore's treasured giant pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia, and now with their newest baby Le Le. The exhibit provides insights into the conservation efforts aimed at protecting these adorable creatures and their endangered species counterparts. It was fully air-conditioned, and so relaxing wondering around. I was so happy to see Kai Kai munching the bamboo. There is a cafe nearby, must try the giant panda bun, it was so cute and delicious.
Along the way, we are also able to see the biodiversity of the Nile and the unique inhabitants of the Mekong River. As we explore the River Safari's exhibits and engage with its mission, we not only embark on a memorable adventure but also become a part of the effort to protect our planet's diverse aquatic treasures. Last but not least, we enjoyed the boat rides that traverse different river habitats, and taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The Amazon in Singapore!
#singaporetrip
Here's one for all the adventure movie lovers: you can live your own Amazon Jungle Cruise fantasy right here in Singapore at River Wonders (formerly River Safari). The experience was fun, enriching!
River Wonders is 1 of 4 parks at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. While most flock here to see the Pandas, one should never miss the boat ride through an Amazon-themed tropical river.
At SGD5 per person for a ride, the 10-15 minute ride brings visitors through mangroves and rainforests where many unique animals can be spotted - capybaras, flamingos, guanacos, and much more. These animals are native to the South American rainforests, so one might never get to see them in person if not for River Wonders.
Tips:
1. Be prepared for a splash! You might get a bit wet when the boat slides down slopes.
2. Go in the morning or later afternoon when the sun is not glaring.
3. Tickets are SGD37.80, SGD42 for non-residents
Look forward to exotic fish, electric eels, giant otters, manatees and even anacondas as well! Much recommended to come here for a day of adventures.

First Trip to the River Wonders
First time visiting the river wonders! I didn’t even know the name was changed from river safari to river wonders!
I expected this to be a short trip just to see the pandas but I was greeted and surprised by the many species of fishes that they have!
We also paid an additional $5 per person for the Amazon river quest. If you are not afraid of getting wet, you can sit at the first row! But we didn’t bring additional clothes so we sat at the back. We got to see many animals such as flamingo, capybara etc.
When we got to where the panda was, there were so many people! The 2 pandas were separated.
We ended our trip with a lunch at the restaurant. We wanted to try the panda bao but unfortunately it was sold out.
Overall an amazing trip & I can’t wait to go back again!

The River Wonder exhibit at the zoo offered an incredible and immersive experience. With a wide variety of river life, the exhibit was designed to provide visitors with a natural and up-close experience with the animals. The Amazon boat adventure was an absolute highlight, offering a thrilling ride while enjoying the scenery. Although the ticket prices were a bit expensive, they were worth it considering the cost of maintaining the animals and the exhibit. Nonetheless, the Panda Home was impressively designed, and overall, the experience was truly spectacular.

A Day At River Wonders (River Safari)
Right next to the Singapore Zoo is another ticketed attraction in Singapore that both young and old would love to go and that is the River Wonders Singapore. At River Wonders, you can expect to see more marine life or tropical fishes such as your wawa fish, sturgeons, manatees, etc. It was an eye opener for my kids and they enjoyed taking pictures and absorbing information of the different creatures that they see at River Wonders.
The biggest attraction of all the animals there would be the cuddly and cute giant pandas and red pandas. It's the only enclosure with air conditioning and the whole place feels cool, but meeting the pandas face to face is even cooler. I love that most parts of the river safari is sheltered so you won't be affected even if it rains. River safari is not as big as the Singapore Zoo but there's still alot to see and do. Most importantly, my kids enjoyed their day out at River Wonders and they love the place so much!

River Wonder Singapore
Great experience at the River Wonder Singapore! They separate the animals into different regions, the Gongo River, River Nile, Mekong River, YangZe River etc.
I thought it would be hot during the daytime visiting River Wonder, but not at all. They designed the route with shades and a roof, visitors can enjoy their trip in the park without suffering from the heat and sunlight.
I add-on SGD5 for the boat trip, it's quite exciting, I just feel that the boat is moving too fast where I don't have enough time for taking photos when I discovered the animals.
If you want to watch the animal show, make sure you booked 2hrs in advance to reserve your seat. I'm lucky enough to grab a reservation, but a lot of visitors are not allowed to enter the theater without a booking.
