The hotel's most basic rooms are 160-square-meter one-bedroom standalone villas, with the only difference being their position on the hillside. During my stay, there were more staff than guests, creating a very 'reserved' atmosphere. For dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, I opened a bottle of Caymus that I bought in Napa and flew halfway across the world to bring to the mountains of Sichuan. It paired very well with yak palm, and the executive chef personally came to greet us.
