Hike
What will reward you at the top is possibly the most beautiful sight in Indonesia. It’s only a 1 hour hike to get to the view point at the top, but it’s pretty steep with unstable ground.
To get to Padar island you will have to take a boat from the main land of Labuan Bajo which takes around 3 hours, but is usually combined with a trip to Komodo National Park. Take a look at the tour operators on Labuan Bajo and see which day trip best suits your schedule.
No trip to Komodo is complete without a selfie with the world’s largest lizard, and these are almost guaranteed in these sacred islands. The best place to see them is Rinca Island. Here, you can hike around the lush greenery while searching for these beautiful beasts.

Want to see dragons?
Labuan Bajo is a fishing town located at the western end of the large island of Flores in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. It is in Komodo District. It is the capital of the West Manggarai Regency, one of the eight regencies on Flores Island.
Labuan Bajo is the gateway to the nearby Komodo National Park on and around Komodo Island and Rinca Island, both home to the famous Komodo dragons. The park is a World Heritage Site. Its islands offer good scuba diving.
Every evening at Kalong Island (in the bay on the east side of Komodo island), thousands of flying fox bats (burung kalong in Indonesian) rise from the mangroves and form a massive cloud that crosses the strait to Flores island in search of food.#travel #beachlife

Have you been to Bali? Then go island hopping
🍀Route: Choose from four islands
🔷🔹Rinca Island: The real-life 'Dragon Quest' Rinca Island 🐊
🔷🔹Pink Beach: Encounter the most romantic pink sand beach
🔷🔹Makassar Bay: The elusive white sand bay, Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla Hotel is quite good
🔷🔹Padar Island: One sea, four bays, three different colored beaches on Padar Island
🔷🔹Kanawa Island: An uninhabited island inviting you to be the 'island owner'
🔷🔹Kalong Island: Bat formations in the sunset glow on Kalong Island
❤Recommended Reason: One sea, four bays
Padar Island has an X-shaped magical mountain landscape as shown in the picture above☝🖼, unrealistically beautiful, like a towering tree lying in the deep blue ocean, with four curved branches embracing the bays and extending in different directions. This is a place where you can witness one sea and four bays.
Compared to Phi Phi Island·Krabi with one sea and two bays, the difference is obvious and more special.
🌟Highlight Feature: 🏖Beach
Padar Island is a collection of four bays, converging into three-colored beaches here, one pearl white, one charcoal black, and the other a very rare light pink. You can see the rare three-colored beaches at a glance, and the shock can only be experienced in person. Quite wild!
🇲🇨🚣🏻Other Attractions:

🔹Rangko Cave: The 'sapphire' hidden in the rock wall
🔹Wae Rebo Village: 'Cloud town', one of the most beautiful towns in the world
