The entire riverside was filled with blooming cherry blossoms, with the lights and the reflection on the water blending perfectly, it was simply too beautiful! Worth a visit, and the photos taken can be considered works of art haha📸🎨 Despite the crowd, there was no pressure to take photos. Just wait a minute or two for the people in front to leave, and you can take pictures freely. We had also read up on the evening illuminations at Rikugien Garden and planned the visit in the late afternoon so as to be able to catch the park before & after illumination. We are glad to catch that cos the scenic views of the autumn leaves & the lake is really beautiful beyond words. When the lights lit up, it's another level of beauty, and a must visit for any traveler during the fall peak season. There's also a lot others at the park even though it's a weekday night. However, it's still better to go on a weekday as weekend will certainly be more crowded due to the popularity of the garden.

Located near to Kamagome Station by JR Yamanote line or Namboku Subway line, this spacious garden takes about an hour to cover the garden's entire network. Because of work, I led the partners to Tokyo, Japan for inspection, and the schedule was full. The ticket price is only 300 yen (about 15 yuan in RMB), and there is even a night show, which is more expensive than during the day. The only regret when we went was that the day was a bit cloudy, and it was dusk, and the light was particularly bad. But the delicacy of the courtyard and the hundreds of years of shrubs, and the leisurely people instantly put the day's busyness and fatigue behind their heads.
