Rifle range road forest is approximately 66 hectares big and now, there is a section where you are able to view from on top of a quarry(Coulgo Deck), and there are also broadwalks for easy walking for the older generations. The park has about 7km worth of trials, and of course there isn't water fountains located in your trials, so do bring ample water. There are so guided tours that I've seen, but I assume these are only on weekends by NParks themselves.

It's the new year and it's a fresh start for a brand new you with new resolutions made. This year, my resolution is to stay fit and stay close to nature and I begin my new year's adventure at Rifle Range Nature Park. It's a relatively new nature park that is good if you're looking for a casual hike with family and friends. The park has got a variety of walking paths, each with different difficulty levels but most paths had proper pavements/steps that made hiking much easier. You get to admire the greenery and some wildlife animals like birds and even monkeys. There is even a scenic quarry wetland with gorgeous views for you to snap pictures away. Kids can have fun at the forest exploration trail with some obstacle course. With so much to see and do, even exercising/hiking is less of a bore but one that's filled with excitement and fun. #2023travelwish Address : Rifle range road to south Bukit timah natural reserve. How to get there: Nearest Mrt is Beauty world MRT. You can access via the overhead bridge linked to Beauty world shopping centre level 5. This newly opened park was very nicely constructed. The new pathway with anti-skid coating, path for prams and wheelchair, choices of difficulties in path ie steeper road and windling gentle slope to climb up the hill. Monkeys, birds and flyers are exciting to watch. There's even playground for young children. Tips: Weekends are crowded especially at the viewing deck. There will be security guard to ensure not more than 20 people at deck. Travel wish 2023. Hiking Mt Fuji!!

Went to the new nature park today situated at the south of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. It was slightly drizzling but weather is good. Saw some long-tailed Macaques minding their own business. The road was mostly stones or wooden bridge. Went to their Colugo Deck which require stepping up stones to reach. But the view was awesome. Going on a Saturday means you have to endure all the noises and people. The park is accessible through a bridge from Beauty World Centre. #hiking #riflerange #Singapore #nature

#gohiking Situated at Bukit Timah, Rifle Range nature park is 66 hectares and serves a green buffer to protect Bukit Timah nature reserve. It has broad walks, exploration trails,wetlands. Lovely place and the air is very fresh as you hike all the way up. Would love to be there again
