Rick's Cafe is located in 248 Boulevard Sour Jdid, 20250 Casablanca and is open daily from 1200-1500 and 1830-0030. It is around 1 kilometers 15 minutes walk from Casaport train station.
We heard the name Rick's cafe from the movie Casablanca, now you can visit the beautiful recreation of the cafe and bring your Casablanca movie dream to life.
The cafe opened in 2004, is housed in a traditional Moroccan grand mansion with a central courtyard, flanked with two palm trees in the front door. The restaurant has two levels, when you step inside, you will feel like you are going back to the 1940s.
Food selection at Rick's cafe takes advantage of Morocco abundance in seafood. The menu offers a wide selection of fish and steaks.
At night there is also live music, which makes the ambiance even more enjoyable.

Rick's Cafe, a Moroccan coffee shop, is now a red spot in Casablanca. People go to the cafes and want to see the social scene in the classic movie "North African Spy". In fact, this caf is newly built according to the way in the movie. Even so, it still does not affect the tourists. Cafe consumption is not low, you need to add 10% service fee, if you do not consume, you may not be allowed to take pictures.
Old Lake Walker.
Most of my understanding of Morocco comes from the old song "Casablanca", which is based on the episode of the old movie "North African Spy", which makes countless people follow the music when they ring: "I fell in love with You watching Casablanca......"
Rick'Cafe restored the shooting scene of the "North African Spy" movie, so that countless fans come here to punch in, entering the restaurant is like entering the old time in the movie. Traveling in Morocco, this is a card destination that you can't miss.

Due to the charm of film and music, the city of Casablanca is more famous than its country and capital.
"Casablanca" tells the story: Before the Second World War, Europeans fled to the United States, and Lisbon became the largest transit point. But not everyone can reach Lisbon directly, so a roundabout escape route emerged. From France across the Mediterranean to Algeria, then along the African coastline to the French Casablanca. People who arrived in Casablanca tried every means to obtain a departure visa to travel to Lisbon and leave Europe to travel to the free United States. A couple of fugitive couples want to get a departure visa and come to a bar to find someone to sell the visa. The owner of the bar is the woman's past lover. It is a story of the reunion of old love in the context of war.

Desperado.
I think everyone must have replayed this World War II movie "Casablanca" in the hearts of the people. There are more foreigners in the store. Everyone is happy to take photos with their mobile phones. As the main shooting location in the movie, the caf has the feeling of a country pub in the western United States. Originally a virtual scene in Casablanca, it is now a classic reappearance.
In 2004, a local fan of Casablanca contributed and copied the Rick Cafe exactly as the scene in the movie. There is nothing to see in the city of Casablanca, and this little cafe has become a fascinating landscape.
Sit on the second floor to eat, the "Casablanca" movie downstairs continues to play, the black playing piano is still quiet in the corner, the staff with red hats come back and forth busy green, white Arabia In the building, I think of "As time goes by... a kiss just a kiss"...
