Based on my experience of visiting Mount Austin 4 times in the past 3 months, I have summarized this tour route. The itinerary can be divided into 2-day tours (weekend tours) 🚌Transportation strategy: 🚗Taxi location: 📍Woodlands Checkpoint 🚌Bus: 160/170/950/CW checkpoint special line, etc. 🚃Train station location: 📍Woodlands Train Checkpoint ❗️Chinese passport visa-free strategy❗️ 🆕Avoiding long-term traffic jams on weekends, I will enjoy the Malaysian visa-free benefits with my mother on 12/4 with my Chinese passport! Preparation before the trip: passport + online entry registration (Malaysia 🔍MDAC, Singapore 🔍SGAC) + RM cash + bank card 💳 🚗Taxi: Johor Bahru Grab is very cheap, basically RM10-20, can be paid in cash or 💳 [Woodlands Checkpoint] Due to the route of the tour, it is recommended to check in from Woodlands Checkpoint. SBS🚌 is more cost-effective, and the fare is basically within 2 SGD Breakfast recommendation: Three Sisters Roast & Coffee p4; This is a popular breakfast shop that I love and have been to many times. The taste is very online and the price is affordable. See p5 for the menu. Opposite is the popular banana cake shop! [Chen Xu Nian Cultural Street] In recent years, in order to stimulate tourism, this area has been renovated and remodeled. The murals and old buildings in the alleys are very suitable for street sweeping. Trendy hipster cafes and traditional teahouses coexist. It is perfect for Citywalk here. 【City Square】After passing through the immigration checkpoint in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, you will reach this mall through JB Sentral. There are all kinds of food, drink and entertainment activities in it. The mall is open after 10 o'clock~ 【KSL City Mall】Old-fashioned mall, there are many small shops such as barber shops, massage, mobile phone accessories, etc., suitable for shopping~ 🍲Lunch recommendation: Shunfa Bak Kut Teh; p11-12 I have eaten it since I was a child. My favorite treasure bak kut teh shop must be Ai Yubing, super refreshing~ 【MidValley】It should be the largest and newest mall in Johor Bahru. It is super fun to visit and has everything. I tried a popular self-service hot pot restaurant. The environment and taste are not bad and worth recommending. or 【Mount Austin】A new popular shopping district, gathering many popular cafes, food, entertainment and leisure places! The food is delicious! We tried them several times for breakfast and they have healthy options too. Some of my favourites were croissant with egg, bacon, avocado and their smoothie bowls! The fruits really taste very good over here. I didn’t like the coffee, although the reviews were good from others. But when done as iced latte i could see how people love it It's a very comfortable and cozy spot. It can suit a hangout or meet up too with friends. You can work, the Internet sometimes falls off but not bad at all. There is an air conditioner, indoors and it's nice during the day.
