One of the most memorable places we've visited in Singapore last year is the Resorts World Sentosa 🏝 Entry is free. However, famous attractions found inside the complex, such as Universal Studios, require a fee. We were able to access the area by riding a cable car from Harbourfront Tower two. Remember to check for promos as you may be able to avail unlimited cable car rides for affordable price. I really enjoyed strolling around the area as there are plenty of food stalls and souvenir shops to choose from. I also love the colourful decorations and the gigantic Merlion, which are photoworthy! Located right outside the entrance of Universal Studios Singapore, this gourmet park is a sheltered outdoor dining experience with wooden benches to simulate that alfresco vibe. Some of the popular food options here include Luke’s Lobster (known for their lobster hand rolls) and The Goodburger (known for their vegan plant-based patty options). The good thing is that this gourmet park opens till about 8pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends, so guests who are visiting attractions till late will still have food options as most other eateries here close earlier. However, do note that the menu prices here can generally be quite expensive (think $14 for a serving of nasi lemak). The Van Gogh exhibition at Resorts World Sentosa was a really interesting and immersive experience. We were thrilled by the spectacular setup in the projection mapping rooms and each theme was done in great detail so much so that it had a tinge of mystery to the whole story, which was very refreshing indeed! The great thing about this location is everything is available in once place, which means you don’t need to travel too far to get food, a coffee or even the monorail back to HarbourFront!

Remember the family friendly Festive Hotel at Resorts World Sentosa? Turns out they newly renovated and rebranded to Hotel Ora! Hotel Ora is now a beautiful and cozy hotel with modern designs & colourful elements. My favourite part of the hotel is the sofa— it’s so comfortable and big enough for another person to sleep on, and it is also super cute!! What made the hotel experience better are the Smart TV with in built Netflix & Youtube, and the dual sinks in the toilet so you don’t have to wait for the other person to wash up (you do still need to wait for them when they have to use the 🚽🤭) There is also a self service snack-bar area at the lobby if you ever want to purchase a bite in the middle of the night. Though it can be quite pricy, the Tiramisu in a jar was definitely worth $13 for it’s portion and taste! Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience exhibition opened in Singapore last March. I was able to book a ticket for last April just in time for my birthday festivities. It was a one-of-a-kind experience. I just wished we could have gone for an earlier timing, so we weren’t pressed for time going through the whole exhibition. My favourite exhibitions were the blinking portraits of Van Gogh, the 360-degree wall projections, and his works on display. We stayed the longest in the 360-degree projections room. It was the highlight for me. There were rugs and chairs for you to lounge around while your whole surroundings just changes. I learned a lot about his life through the timelines and different story-telling techniques in the exhibition. I was so intrigued by his life that even on our way home, I am still researching about him. There were lots of activities you could partake in. Aside from the projections, there’s VR, movie theatre, making your own paintings and have them on display through projection. There’s even a souvenir shop and a café after passing through the whole exhibition. The exhibition will end this October and is located in Resorts World Sentosa. As recommended by friends, I've decided to visit this exhibition and it definitely live up to it's expectations. It has many instagramable spots to take photos. There are also many infographic diagrams showcasing Van Gogh's tragic lifeline and how his inspiration for the artworks come about. Another highlight for the exhibition are the various venues that recreates Van Gogh's artworks with animations to better depict what Van Gogh was trying to convey in the various art pieces. You can really stay in the venue for hours to slowly immerse in his world! This exhibition is still ongoing for a couple of months so don't miss the chance to visit it. One tip for those going is to check the pricing for the tickets before planning for the trip as it fluctuates based on the slot availability for the day. Very interesting and meaningful activity at Van Gogh: the Immersive experience! Reasonable ticket price, touching and easy to understand explanation! What a fruitful trip! Staying at oasis resort hotel, transportation to around attractive is super convenient! However, the direction of train could be more clear. Generally speaking, the hotel is generous to give an upgrade from a Premier room to junior suite with breakfast rooms only with $100 SD more!

I didn’t plan to go to Sentosa on this trip. But I happened to have some time in the afternoon to go to Sentosa for a quick visit. Taking the cable car to see Sentosa landing gave me a completely different feeling Just like Singapore's back garden, with coconut trees and endless lawns I can't help but sigh that Singapore's greening is really well done Although it is an artificial beach, the environment is clean No trash on the beach You don’t have to play games in Sentosa Just take a leisurely walk and you can enjoy different scenery. #celebratewithtrip if you are in Singapore and would like to look for something to do , yet do not really like to be at outdoors , then I would suggest you to visit the sea aquarium and resorts world sentosa. it is easily accessible by train to HarbourFront mrt station and thereafter take the monorail to the resorts world sentosa. you can pre purchase your tickets so you can skip the long queue on the day itself. visit the sea aquarium and learn more about all these sea animals as well as fun and interesting facts. see nice fishes like the dory and all. suggest taking some cool photographs here too as it’s really a nice place to be at.
