[2025 Koh Chang Hotels] Travel Guide for Resolution Resort (Updated Jun)

I’m so happy that this place allows all types of pets, including dogs and cats, to stay. However, there’s an additional charge of 300 THB per pet, and they must weigh no more than 15 kilograms. The rooms have been newly renovated and are absolutely stunning. They offer a sea view, and the beds are incredibly large—big enough for four people! The bathtub is also spacious, comfortably fitting two people. Breakfast is served as a set menu, and the portions are just right to fill you up. The highlight, though, is the bread. I highly recommend trying it—it’s incredibly delicious! It’s not your typical bread, and I can’t quite describe it, but you should definitely give it a try. Activities include swimming and taking a boat ride to the beach on the opposite side, where you can enjoy the water and take a stroll. You can even bring your pets along, but I didn’t bring mine as I wanted to be considerate of other guests on the boat. If you plan to bring your pets, it’s best to inform the staff in advance so they can assist you. You can also kayak to the Bang Bao lighthouse, which is much easier than driving there. 😭 If you have time, I recommend kayaking to the right side of the hotel for breathtaking views—it’s truly an Unseen Koh Chang experience. However, you’ll need strong kayaking skills, as it’s quite far. If you’re a beginner, I wouldn’t recommend it. Personally, I didn’t dare to try because I’m not a strong swimmer. 😆 As for costs, we paid approximately 1,600 THB per room.
