Trip to worship and mute in Hong Kong
#TravelAbroad
Hong Kong, in addition to being famous for its food and shopping, is most famous for its fortune-telling, auspiciousness, and luck-boosting activities. Anyone who visits will go to pray at various sacred places.
When we went to Hong Kong, we didn't forget to add this plan to our travel schedule.
Today is my birthday.
So, I took the opportunity to recharge my energy.
I'm not usually a superstitious person, but I worship everything according to their culture. When I travel, I want to act like a local person as much as possible. I want to absorb the culture of the tourist attractions and let myself feel it too. 🤣🤣🤣 It will be a memorable memorial moment.
Okay, today I want to receive blessings from the sacred objects of Hong Kong Island. We chose to travel to Repulse Bay.
Because I love the sea so much, I chose to go here because the temple at Repulse Bay has a sacred object called Surrounded by the sea. It is perfect for catching the wind and the view of the sea and the sky.
I felt a huge amount of energy there.
Ah! This time I have to be awesome. ❤️🙏🏻
This time I traveled alone, staying at a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Actually, traveling in Hong Kong is very easy. You can take the subway like in our country.
We took the red subway line from Tsim Sha Tsui to Crossway Bay Station. Then we had to take a bus to the bay. We took bus number 40.
The whole trip didn't take long, about 40 minutes.
But for someone who is lazy and walks around like us, it took almost an hour because we were careless and got on the wrong side of the bus. 🤣🤣🤣
When we arrived at the bay, we saw the sea view. The sand here is
brownish orange, the sand is very clean.
There are many tourists sitting and sunbathing.
The sea is blue-green. On the other side is a tall mountain background. It's really beautiful. The wind is cool.
It's a pity that we didn't see the sun on the day we went.
Otherwise, we would have gotten a cool silhouette of the sea to show off.
When we arrived at Repulse Bay, we walked about 200 meters to the temple. When we entered, we saw a sacred object.
The first one is the Goddess of Mercy. This one is very sacred.
It is known as the goddess who grants all blessings.
But you have to pray for yourself only, then your wish will come true.
They have a trick to stand at the re-marked spot.
So that Guan Yin can see you clearly.
When you pray, your wish will come true.
As for me… I broke the rules, as usual. 🤣🤣🤣 I stood where I was most satisfied and closest.
I prayed in English because I was afraid that Guan Yin would not understand Thai. 😆😆😆
( Actually, I should have practiced Chinese beforehand. Oh, I was not prepared at all.) Let's just pray for my wish to come true. (Let this post help push our page. 🙏🏻☺️)
Next is the Goddess of Mercy. She is said to be the goddess of safety. Hong Kong fishermen believe that when sailing, the Goddess of Mercy will protect them from dangers. I prayed to her and felt that she was sacred.
I don't know why. 🙏🏻😌 Maybe we can connect. Hehe
Next, there were many gods. We went to worship to enhance our auspiciousness as the Hong Kong people told us. But we didn't chant anything because we weren't good at it. We just used our hearts and spoke out using storytelling in our own style. 😁
There is a red bridge by the riverside to extend your lifespan. Walk across the bridge. It is believed that this will help you live longer, but you are not allowed to walk back.
There are many deities across the bridge. It is a very powerful place to receive spiritual energy. Most importantly, the wind is very cool. That day, I was lucky and it was not hot at all.
Cross the bridge and you will see a pavilion on the right.
It is an octagonal pavilion. They said that this is the place to receive the most energy. You should stand and shout what you want out to the sea (who would dare to do this? 🤣🤣🤣 There are a lot of people). But we did it. We shouted loudly in our hearts. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
After coming out of the pavilion, we saw a giant yellow fish. They asked us to make a wish and throw a coin into the fish's mouth. Then, our wish will come true.
As for us, we tried to throw it twice, missed, and gave up. 🤣🤣🤣
What we like here is that the wind is cool and very peaceful. We can hear the sound of the sea. There are also many sacred objects to make wishes. For anyone who visits Hong Kong, we think this place is a must-see, especially for spiritual people.
They say that every time you come here, your wishes will come true. Friends, go and pray. 😊 Try praying. Will it live up to its reputation?
We give this place 10/10 for its beauty and tranquility.
If they opened it for people to meditate by the sea, I would immediately register. 🤣🤣🤣
Peaceful, shady, relaxing, beautiful sea ❤️
