Weifang Shihu Garden, the filming location of the 1986 version of Journey to the West
Shihu Garden, also known as Ding Family Garden, is located in Weifang City, Shandong Province.
No. 49, Hujia Paifang Street, Weicheng District, covers an area of about 2,000 square meters. Because it occupies a very small area, people at that time referred to it as "ten Hu boards", so it was named "Shi Hu Garden"
1️⃣Shihu Garden Commercial and Cultural Block is a key project invested and rebuilt by Weifang Municipal Government through the reconstruction of the old city, focusing on protecting the historical and cultural environment of Shihu Garden. It is also one of the key cultural projects in Weifang City.
2️⃣The first Spring Festival Cultural Fair of Guandi Temple in Shihu Garden, Weifang was held in Shihu Garden Cultural District. This fair was jointly organized by Weifang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Press and Publication, Weicheng District People's Government and Weifang Investment Company. It lasted for four days from the 15th to the 18th of the first lunar month and was divided into seven theme exhibition areas: blessing and auspiciousness, culture and art, antiques, folk customs, folk performances, food culture, intangible cultural heritage display and leisure shopping.
