It is the perfect staycation if you don’t want to go far. There are both indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool itself for me was a highlight. There is also a pool dedicated for children to play in The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The Renaissance prides itself on being a luxury brand. The hotel is next to the Marriott and have a few restaurants. I came to Taihu Lake for a weekend getaway and ended up falling in love with the hotel 😆... 🌈Room type: 🔅I booked a balcony twin room for my last-minute trip. The room has a river view, and you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the breeze, the view, and a chat. It's like an early retirement 😂; 🔅I love their bathtub. You can do both aerobic and anaerobic exercise 😎; 🏊Pool: Open from 7 am to 11 pm. Renaissance Suzhou Taihu Lake Hotel is located by Taihu Lake, next to Marriott. They share a gym and swimming pool. The difference between Renaissance and Marriott is that Renaissance has a large balcony. After all, it's Taihu Lake, so you must book a lake view room. Facing Taihu Lake, the spring is warm and flowers are blooming. It snowed today, and the snow scene is also good. Of course, it's super cold outside. The temperature in the room is okay. The mountain view room faces Yuyang Mountain, or the lake view room. Comfortable. If you ignore the cold front desk service, it's worth staying. Also, I must complain about the faucet of the sink. It's winter now, and it's cold water when you turn it on. You have to turn it to the back to become hot water. The water volume will become super large, and it's easy to splash all over. And it's hard for girls to turn it without some strength. Can you change the faucet? Everything else is pretty good. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are also comfortable. It takes more than an hour to drive from Shanghai, and it takes about an hour to drive from Suzhou city center. Isolated from the world.
