Pattaya, Thailand - These three hotels are perfect for family travel, making kids happy to the max!
For those in Bangkok who want a convenient and quick trip to the beach, Pattaya is a great vacation destination - just a two-hour drive away. As a seaside resort city, Pattaya's beaches are very public and accessible, allowing anyone to easily enjoy the beach, especially when taking a taxi or songthaew to Pattaya Beach Road, where to the right, there's an endless view of beaches and coconut trees, and to the left, countless bars, restaurants, and hotels. Today, I'm sharing three hotels that are very suitable for family trips with kids!
👍Highly recommended:
Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa Average price 800-1500, the environment, service, landscape, and hygiene are all quite good. The Renaissance Pattaya Resort is about ten kilometers from the center of Pattaya - perfect for a seaside holiday vibe! The hotel's design incorporates local fishing village charm, exuding artistry from the outside in. With the hotel facing the sea, under the blue sky and white clouds, the pool, sea, and sky blend seamlessly; and during sunset, the caramel-colored sunlight, together with the hotel's scenery, forms unforgettable beautiful vistas. In the evening, you can dive into the hotel's stunning infinity pool, which has two levels of infinity pools, super cool! The seaside restaurant and bar are also incredibly beautiful - and the hotel also has family suites with direct pool access! Even better, the Renaissance also offers double tickets to the Columbia Pictures Aquaverse - Pattaya's Columbia Pictures Aquaverse is the world's first Sony-themed water park that opened in October 2022, with eight major movie-themed areas, very close to the Renaissance! This brand-new water world not only has a water park but also allows you to watch movies, music videos, and dance, with occasional live shows, suitable for all ages. When in Pattaya, it's highly recommended not to miss this, especially for family trips with kids!
Pattaya Hilton Hotel Average price 1200-1900, an excellent location right in the heart of Pattaya Beach. The environment, service, landscape, hygiene, and soundproofing are all good! The Pattaya Hilton Hotel is located in the city center, with a rooftop garden and bar that offer amazing views overlooking Pattaya Beach and the bay. The hotel is situated above the Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex - the entire design is ocean-themed, using waves as a motif, and features installations that mimic the surging waves, beach, and underwater scenery, as well as themed family facilities. The intention is to connect the building, landscape, and sea, creating a paradise on earth - the completely renovated infinity pool at the Pattaya Hilton is even more beautiful, super suitable for family fun, and the convenience of being right in the city center is unbeatable!
Pattaya Grande Centre Point Space Hotel Average price 1000-1700, a new hotel that opened in August 2022, all aspects are very good! This is Thailand's first space-themed hotel - the Grande Centre Point Space Hotel Pattaya brings various space elements, from space shuttles to cosmic scenes, into the hotel. The rooftop pool has a futuristic tech vibe! The space-themed water park downstairs is divided into areas like Space Forest and Pirate Beach, and the park even includes mini-golf and a children's club themed around a spaceship. The best part is that all these services and facilities are free for guests! Especially when you step into the water park, you instantly feel like you're on the planet Pandora, where you can definitely have a blast with the kids!

Pattaya, Thailand, is a couple's vacation paradise – and I highly recommend these three hotels!
For those in Bangkok looking for a convenient and quick trip to the beach, Pattaya and Hua Hin are both excellent vacation destinations. Located to the east and west of Bangkok respectively, both can be reached with just a two-hour drive. As seaside resort cities, Pattaya's beaches are very public and accessible, allowing anyone to easily enjoy the beach, especially when taking a taxi or songthaew to Pattaya Beach Road. On the right, you'll see endless beaches and coconut trees, and on the left, countless bars, restaurants, and hotels. For couples traveling to Pattaya for a vacation, these are the three hotels I recommend the most:
👍 Highly recommended:
Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa Average price 800-1200 – Located about ten kilometers from the center of Pattaya, the Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa is perfect for a seaside vacation! The hotel's design incorporates the local fishing village charm and exudes artistry from the outside in. With the hotel facing the sea, the pool, ocean, and sky blend seamlessly under the blue sky and white clouds; and during sunset, the caramel-colored sunlight creates unforgettable beautiful scenes with the hotel's scenery. In the evening, you can dive into the hotel's stunning infinity pool. This Renaissance features a two-tiered infinity pool that is absolutely amazing! The seaside restaurant and bar are incredibly beautiful! Toasting with the sunset, watching the afterglow, is definitely the ideal vacation state!
👍 Highly recommended:
Andaz Pattaya Average price 1500-6000 – As a luxury lifestyle resort under the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and the first Andaz hotel in Thailand, Andaz Pattaya is located on a charming waterfront surrounded by mature tropical trees and tranquil gardens overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. The unique local style and modern design inspiration come from its history as a private estate. Upon arrival at the hotel, what catches the eye is the stunning tropical rainforest and the shimmering pools. The courtyard, centered around an awe-inspiring ancient tree, and the village square, which is courtyard-focused, is an open space for interaction and relaxation, easily blending into the serene atmosphere. But what I love most are the seaside pool and restaurant – they're incredibly beautiful!
👍 Highly recommended:
Pattaya Hilton Hotel Average price 1200-4000 – Located in the city center, the Pattaya Hilton Hotel boasts a rooftop garden and bar with amazing views overlooking Pattaya Beach and the bay. The hotel is situated atop the Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex. The entire design is ocean-themed, using waves as a motif, and features a series of installations that mimic the surge of waves, the beach, and underwater scenery. The intention of these scenic treatments is to connect the architecture, landscape, and sea, creating a paradise on earth. The newly renovated infinity pool at the Pattaya Hilton is even more beautiful! The view is unparalleled!

Discover this way! Sailing into the new age of comfort and discovery, the Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa is a paradise within easy reach for travelers of all ages. Set in the laid-back yet hip Na Jomtien district and only two hours away from the bustle of Bangkok, they not only re-define escape, but also show the charms of Pattaya in a different light. Also lots of water sports in this hotel, but you should book in advance. Really nice place for your vocation.

Good times at Renaissance
Our room has immediate access to the pool, which has a view of the sunset. It's very lovely, good times indeed. Though the hotel charge is a bit high compare to other hotels, it is well worth it. The staff is well-trained, there are warm greets every now and then, and the service is genuine. I enjoy working-out at their 24-hour gym area, which is well equipped, and is located on the 4th floor of the main building and has a fantastic view. The dinner buffet isn't quite as wonderful as the breakfast buffet. But, I still love this hotel.

The rooms are stylishly modern and equipped with everything you need, from cozy beds to a relaxing bathtub 🛌🛁. Every corner of the room is thoughtfully designed, making each moment of your stay perfect ✨.

There are two beautiful pools here: one for adults and one for kids 👙. The beachfront infinity pool is particularly stunning, especially at sunset 🌅. The spa is ideal for those seeking rejuvenation; the staff’s attention to detail made me feel instantly refreshed and relaxed 💆♀️.
Breakfast and Dining
The breakfast spread is diverse and of excellent quality 🥐🍳. With both international and Thai options, there’s something for everyone. Additionally, the seaside restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner—the fresh food and starlit ambiance are unbeatable 🌌.

Renaissance Mother’s Day💙
We are celebrating Mother’s day here #familytrip. I requested to the staff for any presents or decorations for my mom and we appreciate it so much. They are quite generous and the staff are detailed in special orders.
I booked pool access room 2117 actually I afraid of some privacy but it turned out opposite, fortunately that we received pool access room located in private angle.
The room is large. Beds also are comfy my mom love it so much. Cleanliness level is high even they seemed a bit old. Air conditioning working like they are not in the room 😂 soo quiet.
The breakfast room is large enough and well managed even we visited during long holiday in Thailand. Food quality is very high and variety of international cuisine
There is an amazing sunset view from pool.
Service is excellent except when during rush hours (check-out time)
Location is quiet far from Pattaya city but definitely suitable for who seek to escape chaos.
Only thing that matters are lack of proper smoking area. I saw many people smoking (both normal and electronic one) next to the pool in which children are there.

The charm of starting to see the sea in Pattaya, the allure of the Renaissance Hotel
❤Recommended reason:
The Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa is the closest beachfront resort I have stayed at (which may also be related to its not-so-large area)
Moreover, the beautiful beach🏖 scenery completely broke my stereotype of Pattaya!
🗓Travel plan:
For such a beautiful hotel, my plan is to just soak in the hotel for the first few days and go nowhere
The only time I go out is to turn right out of the hotel gate and walk less than ten minutes to the cliff restaurant (excellent for watching the sunset) (the taste of the food is also okay)
Turn left for a 711 (also less than ten minutes walk), but there is a bit too much dust on the road
✅Must experience:
On the first night, take a stroll along the beach, the hotel has a private beach that closes at eight o'clock in the evening, but the evening🌆 is especially enchanting and dreamy.
The infinity pool is very beautiful (the waiter said it is pumped from seawater)
Every waiter I met was very enthusiastic, and all the way you can hear them greeting you with 'Sawadee ka', there are two pools, one high and one low, with different levels of sensation~
The welcome fruit on the day of check-in was very tasty (sour and sweet, just right for my taste, most guests who like sweet might give a bad review)
🚉Transportation strategy:
✈️It's two and a half hours from Bangkok airport, not too far; and right outside the hotel is the highway, newly built so it doesn't go through the most congested part of the city , basically no need to worry about the time to and from!
🏪The only downside is that the hotel is too big, and it's still over 300 meters to go out to 7-11, not so convenient , but the merits outweigh the flaws, right?~
👍Most recommended:
Really suitable for friends who just want to soak in the hotel, all three meals can be solved in the hotel (breakfast restaurant lunch can be ordered à la carte, that cream pasta tastes quite good recommended)
🏄There are surfing and paddleboarding activities on the beach in the afternoon, so it won't be boring! Summer is coming, if you don't like the noise and don't want to run far to the islands, Pattaya Renaissance is still very suitable for a vacation with kids or for couples to be lovey-dovey!

Renaissance
I would rate Renaissance as a five-star hotel in Pattaya, with its beachfront location and private beach, complete with all the amenities I love.
Staying at the Renaissance is always a delightful experience. This time, I stayed in a Pool Access (Poolside View) room, which included a desk, sofa, refrigerator, and a variety of conveniences such as bathroom toiletries, hair dryer, slippers, bathrobe, minibar, and more.
This stay was for 3 days and 2 nights, and I didn't have to do anything because the hotel has everything, including several dining rooms, a spa, and a bar. Since my room was a Pool Access one, I could just open the door and step right into the pool, specifically the Sunset Pool, which is quite close to the sea and adjacent to the beach. The view is incredibly beautiful, and I was very happy.
Another thing worth mentioning is the breakfast. When I stay at a hotel, I place great importance on having a good breakfast. Normally, I don't eat before noon, but when I'm on vacation, I'm willing to wake up early for breakfast, and the breakfast here did not disappoint as usual. The 609 Kitchen offers a wide variety, including Thai food, international cuisine, and Chinese food. There are sections like the Eggs Corner, Pancake Corner, Salad Corner, Bread Corner, Milk Bar, and even a selection of 16 different items including Chinese dim sum and substantial Thai dishes like noodles. It's all very impressive.
Finally, the beach! As I mentioned, the hotel is right on the sea, so you can walk down to a beautiful and private beach like this. The beach here is very quiet, with only hotel guests strolling or playing in the water. Importantly, there are no motor sports to disturb the peace. Whether you're walking, taking photos, or watching the sunset, it's all very enjoyable and picturesque.
Price >> 7,500-8,500 baht per night
(Depending on the date of stay)

Falling in love at Pattaya Beach
#fallingseason I have a short break on weekend and spend time at Pattaya beach. the weather is nice and the sea view is great. Me and my kid love to stay here. we recommend you to come to pattaya in Fall.
- Nice weather not too hot.
- Sea Food here is fabulous.
- service is great
- kid clud is good.
The hotel is located on the Thailand Bay in the southeast of Bangkok, situated on Na Jomtien Beach. This is a beach 4 kilometers away from the bustling city center of Pattaya, and it is much quieter than most beaches like Pattaya Beach. The beach is about 6 kilometers long, perfect for a quiet stroll with friends or lovers by the sea. It feels like a scene from a drama: the male and female leads walk to the beach at dusk, stepping on the fine sand, the sun is covered with a layer of golden halo on the other side of the sea, and the continuous clouds seem to dye the horizon red.
This hotel has a private beach for exclusive use, and if you're lucky, you may encounter an ultimate romantic beach wedding. The sea water in front of you is a healing shade of blue, with the sunset hanging on the other side of the sea, and the sky changing into shades of pink, gold, and purple. Walking into the marriage hall with your loved one in such a dreamy scene, it feels like every girl's dream wedding has come true.
Hotel located by the sea, full of design sense! It's a feast for the eyes.
·There is also a super large swimming pool for taking photos and videos.
·The interior of the room blends local elements with the modern design of Marriott very well.
·The interior is stylish and avant-garde, with light-colored wooden furniture and elegant marble, and each space seems to have a piece of ocean.
·Some rooms have private pool connected to the main pool on the balcony, while others face the sea, each with its own strengths.
The hotel has multiple restaurants, each with different decoration designs and unique dishes, achieving a double collision of visual and taste. It will definitely not leave your taste buds lonely during your vacation!
609Kitchen offers abundant breakfast and other delicacies.
pebblesBar&Grill restaurant serves Asian, international cuisine and barbecue during dinner time (I think the black truffle sauce and raw oysters are delicious, everyone can give it a try).
·The VR-Lounge bar is the ideal place for guests to relax in the lobby area~
Finally, let's talk about the swimming pool information that everyone is concerned about. The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, a private beach area, and a children's play area, so it is also a good choice for family travel. Parents can enjoy leisure time and let their children consume energy on their own. It is also a good place to take children for a walk, haha.

The last stop of the three-month trip to Thailand came to Pattaya. The first hotel I stayed in Pattaya: Renaissance Spa Resort Hotel, moved to this seaside pool villa yesterday~ For those who want to go nearby in Bangkok For those who live by the sea, Pattaya is a very good choice, two hours' drive from Bangkok.

Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa - Don't miss the stunning sunset cocktails and sea view suites!
The last stop of the three-month trip to Thailand is back to the beach, Pattaya! The hotel we stayed in Pattaya is Marriott - sea view suite. For those who want to go to the beach near Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin are both very good holiday destinations - located on the east and west sides of Bangkok, respectively, and can be reached by a two-hour drive.
Both are seaside resort cities~ Pattaya's beaches are very open and accessible to the public, anyone can easily play on the beach, especially when taking a taxi or songthaew to enter Pattaya Beach Road, on the right is an endless beach and coconut trees, on the left are countless bars, restaurants and hotels.
Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa is located in the Chonburi area, more than ten kilometers away from the center of Pattaya. The hotel's design incorporates the local characteristics of a fishing village, emitting an artistic atmosphere from the outside to the inside. The hotel is by the sea, and the sea view from the top floor of the ocean view suite I stayed in was amazing! Under the blue sky and white clouds, the swimming pool, the sea, and the blue sky are all connected in a line. At sunset, I came to Pebbles Beach Club by the sea. The caramel-colored sunlight, together with the hotel's scenery, formed unforgettable beautiful pictures. Toasting with the sunset and watching the afterglow is truly a beautiful seaside vacation time!

where to stay in Pattaya and Hua Hin hotels?
For those who want to go to the beach near Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin are both very good vacation destinations~ located on the east and west sides of Bangkok, respectively, and can be reached by a two-hour drive. Both are seaside resort cities~ Pattaya's beaches are very open and popular, and anyone can easily play on the beach, especially when taking a taxi or tuk-tuk to Pattaya Beach Road, where there is an endless sea and coconut trees on the right, and countless bars, restaurants and hotels on the left. Hua Hin is a completely different form~ Hua Hin has a very long coastline, but it does not have the mass commercialization that is closely connected to the beach like Pattaya. There is no road next to the beach, but there are countless luxury resorts and private villas. As a favorite vacation destination for island owners, today we recommend some hotels in Pattaya and Hua Hin:
1️⃣Pattaya Anda Hotel
As a luxury lifestyle resort under the Hyatt Hotels Group, Andaz Pattaya is also the first Andaz hotel in Thailand. Located on the charming seaside of Pattaya, it sits on the famous "Sunset Beach" - Tawanron Beach, surrounded by mature tropical trees and a serene garden overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.
Surrounded by a beautiful garden with hundred-year-old trees, the hotel's unique local style and modern design inspiration come from its history as a private estate. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, you will be amazed by the tropical rainforest and sparkling pools. The courtyard, centered around an awe-inspiring native tree, is a spacious village square with a courtyard as the main feature. Here, people can interact and relax, and also relieve the fatigue of the journey and blend into the peaceful atmosphere.
2️⃣Marriott Resort & Spa, Pattaya
The Pattaya Marriott is located in Na Jomtien, Chonburi, more than ten kilometers away from the center of Pattaya. The hotel's design incorporates the local fishing village style, emitting an artistic atmosphere from the outside to the inside. The hotel is by the sea, with the pool, ocean, and blue sky all connected in one line. At sunset, the caramel-colored sunlight and the hotel's scenery form unforgettable beautiful pictures. In the evening, you can jump into the hotel's stunning infinity pool or lie on a rattan chair to sunbathe and read a book. Toast with the sunset and watch the afterglow of the setting sun, it is definitely an ideal vacation model.
3️⃣️Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok Hotel
Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya, the first space-themed hotel in Thailand, opened in August last year and has not yet been open for a year. The hotel design incorporates scenes from outer space, from space shuttles to the universe. If that's not enough, the hotel also has a space-themed water park! The water park covers an area of over 10,000 square meters and is divided into four areas, including the Space Forest and Pirate Beach. The park also has a children's club themed around a spaceship, mini golf, and massage tubs. The hotel also has a hot spring and a hot bath where you can enjoy stunning views of the Gulf of Thailand.
4️⃣️ Hilton Pattaya Hotel
The Pattaya Hilton Hotel is located in the city center, with a great view from the rooftop garden overlooking Pattaya Beach and the bay. The hotel is located above the central festival building in Pattaya Beach. The entire design of the hotel is themed around the ocean, with a series of installations mimicking the surging waves, beach and underwater scenery, using the ocean as a clue. A series of landscape treatments are intended to connect the building, landscape and sea, like a fairyland on earth. The Pattaya Hilton has an infinity pool, fitness center and spa. The spacious rooms are laid with light-colored wooden floors and enjoy a subtle color scheme, providing a relaxing environment with a comfortable seating area and private balcony.
5️⃣️InterContinental Pattaya Resort
The InterContinental Pattaya Resort is located on a lush hill in the south of Pattaya, offering stunning views of the entire Gulf of Siam and nearby tropical islands. The resort occupies a unique beachfront location, including a private beach, ensuring that guests can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and peaceful surroundings while conveniently accessing local attractions. The hotel's decor combines traditional Thai style with a fashionable modern atmosphere, highlighting the rich tropical flavor.
6️⃣️Hua Hin Sheraton Hotel
As the first hotel of The Standard in Thailand, The Standard, Hua Hin resort hotel is located in a beautiful garden landscape like a fantasy, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand and directly connected to the beach. For centuries, Hua Hin Beach has been a popular beach resort, dating back to the early days of the railway connecting the flower-filled metropolis of Bangkok to the dreamy seaside town. With the opening of The Standard, Hua Hin, this seaside town, known as the Miami of Thailand, has been further awakened! The Standard, Hua Hin is located in a lush garden-like dream landscape, with various local and green plants, and creatively designed water therapy projects and immersive, vibrant pool landscapes.
7️⃣️Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa
SO Sofitel Hua Hin Hotel is an artistic exploration journey. Here, there are special geometric garden courtyards. Through the interweaving maze of outdoor halls and open courtyards, and hidden art and animal images waiting for a private passage to be discovered, can one enter the lobby. Art and nature intersect here, and hotel guests can explore various private customized activities here, allowing visitors to feel full of charm and infinite surprises. Nowadays, many hotels claim to blur the concept of the lobby, but among the thousands of hotels that the island owner has stayed in, the SO Sofitel in Hua Hin, which has no lobby, is truly one of a kind! There is really not even a small room here, and the fully open space at the top of the stairs bears all the front desk and concierge, which is very creative!
8️⃣Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa
Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa is one of the most recommended luxury accommodations on the island. The Marriott is located next to the bustling main road and boasts a grand architectural style. The biggest highlight is the large swimming pool, which can be accessed directly from the first-floor rooms and leads to a large circular pool by the beach. From anywhere in the hotel's central area, you can see the pool. There is also a dedicated children's play area, with daily activities arranged for the little ones. The hotel rooms are elegant and exquisite, with soft and comfortable mattresses and marble tabletops showcasing the quality of the furniture. The hotel's main restaurant is divided into indoor and outdoor areas, offering a wide variety of food. Start your day with a hearty breakfast and get energized for a full day ahead at the hotel.
9️⃣️Hua Hin Hyatt Hotel
Garden-style vacation hotel Hua Hin Hyatt, everywhere is a scenery~ The hotel is built on the beach. Walking along the coastline, the calm sea extends, with few people and quiet sea water. Looking far away at the junction of the skyline and the sea, it outlines a poetic and picturesque scene! In addition to traditional Thai architecture, you can also see "Moroccan red" architecture here~ inspired by the ancient Khmer kingdom. The most famous thing about Hua Hin Hyatt is the SPA in the hotel suite area. There are 18 therapy rooms, each equipped with an outdoor deep soaking tub, shower and Thai DAYBED. If you want to fully experience the hotel's hydrotherapy services, you can choose from the hotel's rich and colorful SPA packages. The SPA public area is designed by a renowned local designer from Thailand! The design inspiration comes from the world heritage site of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, with Khmer culture as the theme.
🔟InterContinental Resort Huahin
Compared to Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Hua Hin is probably lonely. There are no towering shopping malls here, and even the busiest night markets have a fresh and artistic atmosphere. Hua Hin is also private and luxurious. The entire city is a narrow strip on the map, with countless five-star resorts and high-end design hotels lined up along the coastline. Although the beach is public, most hotels can walk directly to the beach, and their convenience is no less than a private beach. This is undoubtedly a new model-stay in a hotel, let it take you to play. And the function that these hotels undertake is no longer simple accommodation, but a destination of this trip. The InterContinental Hua Hin Resort is located in the bustling city center of Hua Hin, not too far from various attractions and markets. If you have visited the Palace of Love and Hope before coming here, you should have a better feeling for the beauty of this hotel! The design inspiration of this hotel comes from such a fresh and graceful royal palace-white is the main tone, clean and spacious corridors, intricate teak window frames, and the designer uses modern colors and techniques to interpret the traditional architectural style of Thai palaces in a contemporary way.
