I recently had the pleasure of staying at Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel and I must say, it was a delightful experience. There are a lot of shop houses near the hotel if you feel like exploring local food and services like massages. About 10 mins walk away is a big supermarket, Aeon. It is easy enough to get grab to go anywhere. The rooms are nicely designed and furniture are well-maintained. Overall, Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel exceeded my expectations with its top-notch customer service and inviting club house. Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel is located at a slightly further in area in JB. It is a popular hotel among those who golf as there's a big golf course just directly opposite it. While the hotel is a little dated, the service I received while I'm there was top notch. One down side of this hotel is that there isn't a spa within the hotel itself but the staff recommended a spa just nearby within walking distance. Room was big and lounge food was average. For just SG$130, why not? #malaysia

The hotel location are strategic which can easily to found the local food, fast food and convenient store. #newyearadventure Renaissance hotel Johor Bahru Grab from CIQ at 16rm about 15 mins journey. Hotel running high occupancy as no paid upgrade available. Seems to have wedding dinner and company events going on. Check in to a twin room at 13th floor. The beds are comfortable, size bigger than super single. No bathtub but rain shower is powerful. Room is decent size with working desk and small table for food. Swimming pool is closed for maintenance. Rating: Fairly good. Likely to go back.

The breakfast so good, pastries, main course, fresh juices and too bad the only one Renaissance left in Malaysia after the one in KL shut down :( Location was close to where I am delivering the training. Away from the city centre yet had the necessary food places. Check in swift. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Willing to go out of their way to serve. Room was very nice. Bed was comfy and firm, with nice bed sheets (always a sign of nice bed). Shower was great - consistent warm water. Important after a long day of work.

It was a great experience ever staying at t his executive suite of Renaissance Johor Bahru. Staff are excellent, so professional which truly reflecting marriot hospitality. Room wise, It is super spacious with separate living room and bedroom. there are also 2 huge TV and super spacious bathroom completed with bathtub and walking wardrobe. It is highly recommended to visit rhia amazing property for your next staycation idea. #staycation

(1) The property are located at Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru and easy access if you traveling by land transport. (2) The room facilities are Fair Enough and very comfortable during the staycation. (3) To avoid the peak hours (5pm to 7pm) for room check-in which I was experiencing long Q and waiting time on the process. However, the staff are very friendly and polite. (4) If you not booked with BLD package, you may get local food (Chinese/Malay), Fast Food and/or Korean & Japanese cuisine easily with walking distance. Convenient store also available. (5) Recommend to have weekend Dinner Buffet if you are seafood lover. Fresh Oyster is available. (6) Avg. Price per Person - MYR250 and above, subject to room tier and package. #staycation "Old but gold" This is how i described this well maintained marriot property in Johor Bahru city centre. Location wise a bit off centre, but it is still accessable by car or but taxi to JB central. 📍LOCATION No 2, Jalan Permas 11, Bandar Baru Permas Jaya. 81750 Johor Bahru. less than 7km to JB sentral. My staycation at this property was great overall. I love the classic yet well maintained room even it has been almost 20 years since it was build. It has a nice Large lobby as well. Super friendly and well trained front staff made this staycation more enjoyable. Limited number of Room with direct pool access are available for those looking a fun and easy pool access from the room. I had a chance to visit their executive lounge with afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Foods were super delicious and quite varitey option were available. Breakfast spread were brilliant as well as their taste. Even there are more hotels around Johor Bahru for travelers to choose from, this property should be on top of the list for any staycationer around Johor Bahru. #awesomepic

During a vacation to Johor, Malaysia, I had the opportunity to stay in a suite for the first time at the Renaissance Hotel, and it was incredibly comfortable! The suite featured a large living room and a small meeting room, likely intended for business meetings. We mostly lounged on the soft, large bed, barely using the living room or meeting room. The bathroom was spacious, complete with a bathtub and a walk-in closet, making me feel like a princess. Staying in a suite grants you free access to the Club Lounge, which is exclusively for hotel members and suite guests. It's a quiet and comfortable space offering complimentary buffets during breakfast and dinner, with chefs preparing meals on the spot. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast dishes, especially the truffle eggs and cheese roti, which I recommended to my friend, who loved it! They also serve exquisite local snacks during afternoon tea, like spicy cassava chips, which are crispy and flavorful. These chips are specially supplied to the hotel and might not be available elsewhere. Even more amazing, the Lounge offers free drinks every evening! The hotel is surrounded by many eateries and small shops, including a large store called Mr. DIY, which my friend enjoyed exploring. Additionally, if it doesn't rain, the street in front of the hotel transforms into a night market every Sunday evening. After enjoying the buffet at the Lounge, you can stroll through the market, which offers a variety of delicious foods. I highly recommend this experience! #cherryblossom2024 Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel is a 5 star Hotel that has been nothing but perfect. The twin bedroom that we stayed in may be a little dated but it was still spacious and clean, compared to alot of other hotels nearby. The toilet may not have a bathtub but we have all the amenities that we needed and that was good enough. Beds were comfortable and room was excellently sound proof with no disturbance from other rooms. There's also a nice pool at the hotel, should you wish to go for a dip. Highly recommend Renaissance JB Hotel.

Well maintained Bonvoy property in JB

A quick hop across the border to clock more elite nights ❤️ Revisiting this property after dinosaur years was a good choice, it being the only decent Bonvoy property in Johor Bharu. And I’m pleased to report that the property is very well maintained! 🍀 The Club King was plenty spacious for the stay and everything was pretty decent despite its age. The bed was firm and comfy with the lounge chair and work desk underused the whole time. Bathroom was open concept and spacious which worked well for 1pax ⭐️ The Executive Club Lounge was a nice peaceful spot whenever I needed a strong cup of coffee with nuts. Afternoon tea was a very moderated affair though but I did see tau kwa option - yay to protein! Didn’t get to evening cocktails but quite sure it’d be decent too. ✅ The only thing is the cheese platter welcome amenity was very….. non-platter - swipe to last pic to see 🤣

#hotelreview JB Renaissance Hotel review Booked a deluxe room at Renaissance hotel over a weekend to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The price is slightly on a high side but it was very worth it. The hotel lobby is quite efficient and the staffs are very friendly. importantly it gave a welcome feeling to the guests and I really like the ambience, not over crowded and noisy. the room that I booked was very clean and tidy, and is feel very roomy and the air conditioning was superb. The toilet is also very nice with overhead shower and nice shampoo and body wash. I spent a lovely night with my spouse and she is very happy with the hotel room as well. Wake up late in the morning and we thought the morning breakfast will be crowded, to our surprise it was quite okay even though we turned up at the peak hour. The restaurant is quite big with plenty of tables. Oh, the food there is also fantastic with large variety of dishes from Chinese, Malay, Indian and American cuisine. Love it. After this whole staycation, I and my spouse would give a 8 out of 10 rating, while is not a perfect score of 10 because the hotel is a little bit dated and is a bit far from the city shopping centre. overall, very satisfying with the stay. Stayed at Concorde hotel in Johore for 2 days 1 night work trip. Rating 4 star ⭐️ for this trip as the facility was generally under provide. eg, there isn’t live band, not drinking place where could chill within the hotel facility. As such, it was generally unpleasant as I couldn’t find any place appropriate to catch up with my clients. However, I would like to comment on the fantastic breakfast spread. it was one of the best in JB thus far. Keep up the great work on that. cheers

The Renaissance JB Hotel has a very nice swimming pool and I love their buffet breakfast. You can choose from deluxe/bayview/executive rooms. I have been to their club lounge and their offerings were great. At their top of the building, they have a huge R at their highest point. They did recognize my membership and gave me a 4pm late checkout. I did not have a chance to try out their Chinese restaurant in the lobby.
