Tokyo 1 hour away attractions ‼ ️The ancient Kawase Castle🫶🏻🫶🏻
Kawagoe is one of the attractions near Tokyo 🫶🏻 It has many antique Kawagoe Old Street 😗 There is also a glacier shrine to pray for luck ⛩️ At the same time, of course, there is a confectionery house that sells traditional Japanese dim sum and so on 🤣
Of course, if you have time, you must eat the famous eel rice and wagashi in Kawagoe🤭
If you are planning on Niagawa, it is best to reserve a day 😎 so you can experience wearing a kimono 👘⚠️
The feeling of walking in the old street in a kimono is particularly different
I bought a one-day pass from Ikebukuro 👍🏻 so in Kawagoe taking the bus 🚌 will be free 🆓 coffee 😌 is very cheap to play
There is a 200~300 meters Taisho romantic dream pass in Kawagoe😎 Here we retain the romantic Taisho era🌹 retro architecture and Tibetan wooden architecture🤣
You can see several coffee shops, restaurants and souvenir shops along the way🤭 Don't worry about relying on food
Also Kawagoe's super popular Kogami Kiku Eel Rice is here
However, because there is almost always a queue 😗 so we suggest you can try to get a number plate 🥲 Otherwise you can't eat it
However, Tibetan Town (Kawagoe Old Street) is the representative attraction of Kawagoe 🤣
Among them, the clock of the hour is even more of a landmark of Kawagoe
The whole street is full of historic houses!! ️
Well, there is a feeling of instantly returning to the Edo period🫶🏻
The old street mainly sells all kinds of souvenirs and souvenir shops 👍🏻 There are many souvenirs that are very characteristic
Why don't you plan your trip quickly

Traditional Kawagoe Castle
Did you know there is a castle in Kawagoe?
Actually, there is.
It is a wooden one-story building, so you can take your time to look around the building.
It doesn't feel like a castle, but you can experience old Japanese architecture.
You can leisurely look at the garden,
or relax in a traditional room.
Enjoy yourself freely and with moderation.

Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, a lucky charm for digging sweet potatoes and catching sea bream⛩️🥰
Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, a lucky charm for digging sweet potatoes and catching sea bream⛩️🥰
Finally we arrived at Hikawa Jinja Shrine where the kids were looking forward to playing!
Hikawa Jinja Shrine has a history of 1,500 years and is registered as a designated cultural heritage by Kawagoe City. It has the largest wooden torii gate in Japan (15 meters). The gods of the couple (Susanoo no Mikoto and Kiinadahime-no-mikoto), the parents of Kiinadahime-no-mikoto (Kyomu no Mikoto and Temu no Mikoto), and the couple's child, Oki no Takamikoto, are enshrined. The main prayers are for good fate, a happy marriage and a happy family.
Hikawa Shrine is located at the northernmost end of Kawagoe City and was the last place we arrived at on our itinerary. The company has different colors of Tai Mikan fortune slips every month. In July, they are red and pink, and they used to have purple! Miyazaki Dog and Penguin each caught one and took it home, they had a lot of fun 😂
Maybe it’s the season for sweet potatoes, and Kumamon has a chance to dig up red and yellow sweet potatoes to match his look🤣
The painted horse tunnel where people pray for their wishes to come true and the wind chimes hung everywhere made people feel cozy and comfortable despite the 35-degree temperature.
Hope everything goes well and safely!
See you next time!

#October Good Places 2024
There are many historical relics preserved everywhere in Kawagoe, especially the Kawagoe Night Battle. Although only an ancient door remains today, it still tells the story of the tragic battles hundreds of years ago.
Now there is a large stone sculpture placed at the location of the main battlefield of the Kawagoe Night Battle Trail, and there is a temple for future generations to commemorate the nostalgia, stepping into the ancient door, it is like traveling through time. A small stone tablet outside the door recorded a detailed description of that battle: Under the cover of night, the warriors quietly advanced against the enemy's position and launched a fierce battle, fearlessly defending their home and honor. An old cat is taking a leisurely nap in the open space in front of the tranquil temple, contrasting with the heavy history of the hard years.
