Due to work pressure, I decided to temporarily escape the city by traveling, and Luang Prabang, Laos became my first stop abroad this year! Luang Prabang is a famous ancient capital and Buddhist center in Laos, a delicate and quaint small mountain town!
I searched for hotels online and booked a hotel with good scenery and airport shuttle service, unexpectedly encountering Bo'an, a healing scenic resort hotel on the Mekong River!

Sharing my check-in experience, I contacted the hotel for airport pick-up one day in advance, and after arrival, I would carpool directly to the hotel. After arriving at the hotel, I checked in conveniently. I originally planned to go out for a stroll, but I didn't expect the scenery of the hotel to be really great, so I decided to chase a sunset at the hotel!
The hotel, like its name, is right on the Mekong River, and you can see the beautiful scenery without leaving the hotel. Because the hotel is newly opened, both the facilities and the design are great! Especially the swimming pool, it's really photogenic!
The hotel's facilities are very complete, including a swimming pool, Mekong River view breakfast restaurant, coffee shop, children's playground, etc. After dinner at the hotel in the evening, the hotel has a free sightseeing car to shuttle the ancient city night market, and we went directly to the ancient city to visit the night market.
The hotel provides breakfast, which is really suitable for me who doesn't want to get up early. After breakfast, I go back to the room to sleep. If you come to Luang Prabang, I highly recommend this treasure hotel here!

We have a good experience at Relaxful restaurant, located in the Relaxful hotel, luang Prabang. The restaurant was very nice and comfortable with stunning view of Mekong river and mountains,a truly relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
My highlights for drink is the black lao coffee really good coffee and looking at a wonderful view of the Mekong river.

P1-2 The Grand Luang Prabang
I booked this hotel last minute because of a change in my itinerary. It's by the Mekong River and a little far from the night market, but the hotel offers a shuttle service. It's run by Chinese people, and the front desk staff speak Chinese. The breakfast is delicious and suits my Sichuan taste.
The rest are from Villa Maly Boutique Hotel, which is amazing and very photogenic~
It's close to the night market, and you can get there quickly on foot. The hotel offers a shuttle service, and you can also ride the hotel's bicycles.
Most of the guests are foreigners, and the breakfast is Western-style. The hotel staff only speak English.

We went the Relaxful chill bar by chance, the Restaurant and bar look beautiful seating with stunning Views of Mekong river, quiet and a real relaxing atmosphere.
They open for outsider guests too.
We love their large choices on food and drink. But today we went to the Lao traditional dish. Pork noodle and spicy Kapao Mou Sab with fried eggs. A yummy and tasty food but spicy.

I love it! This hidden gem in Luang Prabang is amazing.
This trip to Luang Prabang was made even better by staying at this hotel. It made my trip so much easier. It's a real hidden gem.
1️⃣ The service is great and the staff are very friendly. They can speak some Chinese, so basic communication is no problem. The hotel offers airport/station transfers and shuttle services to the night market and other places in the city. It's very convenient.
2️⃣ There are many room types to choose from. I stayed in a pool room. The room leads directly to the pool. It's so nice to be able to swim whenever you want. It's great to be able to take a bath after swimming.
3️⃣ The hotel facilities are comprehensive. There's a gym, pool, massage spa, and an observation deck with river views. My favorite part is the sunset swing. It's so beautiful at sunset.
4️⃣ The most important thing is that the hotel breakfast is really good and comprehensive. There are Chinese and Western options. I was so moved to be able to drink soy milk in the morning in Laos.
