Wat Phra Pathom Chedi Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan 🛕 is a first-class royal temple of the Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan type, located in Phra Pathom Chedi Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District. It is the largest stupa in Thailand. Nakhon Pathom Province uses Phra Pathom Chedi as the provincial seal. The current Phra Pathom Chedi was built during the reign of King Rama IV in 2396 B.E., with the royal command to build a cover over the original stupa, which was an old stupa with an inverted bowl base and a prang spire on top. It is assumed to have been built in the early 4th Buddhist century, as the shape of the inverted bowl stupa is similar to the Sanchi Stupa in India, which was built during the reign of King Ashoka the Great. The construction of the new cover stupa was completed during the reign of King Rama V in 2413 B.E., taking 17 years to complete. The new stupa is a round, bell-shaped stupa in the Sri Lankan style. It is 3 sen 1 cubit 10 inches (or approximately 120.5 meters) high from the ground to the crown. The base measures 5 sen 17 wa 3 sok (or approximately 233 meters). Searching and searching in Wongnai, I found this shop, so I stopped by for a bit. Craft Coffee Roaster is located in Soi Thahan Bok 3. The front of the shop stands out with a red door. When you enter, there is a drip coffee bar in the middle of the shop and small tables around it. Chinese lanterns are hung, which goes well with the front door. There are both regular and occasional customers stopping by continuously. It's quite lively. Even though it's a specialty coffee shop, there are also non-coffee menus for those who don't drink coffee. Cook Kai ordered a hot cocoa (60 baht) and an iced cocoa (60 baht). The price is the same for both hot and cold. The cocoa flavor is strong and not too sweet. But I think it's more suitable for cold. The hot one is a bit thick. When drinking it cold, there is ice to blend it together. But both taste good. 🎊☕️🥛 Good coffee. There is a roasting factory in the back of the shop. There are many to choose from. It was as delicious as expected. The shop has no parking. You can park on both sides of the road.
