This dreamy and less crowded spot is a perfect hidden gem for cherry blossom viewing! Getting to Matsudo Kawazu Cherry Blossoms is quite easy. Take the JR line to Matsudo Station, then walk towards Matsudo Shrine. It's just a five-minute walk, making it very convenient. It is usually open for three hours from 18:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays, but on this day it happened to be open from 10:30 to 16:30 on Thursdays. 📍 Matsudo City Museum 671 Sendabori, Matsudo, Chiba 270-2252 Admission: 310 yen This museum has an exhibit that is sure to impress some people. It's a replica of the Tokiwadaira housing complex. This is a reproduction of the one from 1960. It's surprising that it suddenly appears at the back of the building, but the inside is also recreated to look like it did back then, and it's very elaborate. It feels like grandma's house. It's an era I don't know, but it felt nostalgic. It is the only building that remains almost completely of the Tokugawa family residence from the Meiji period. He studied in Europe, and apparently enjoyed decorating it with European antiques at the time. The villa is divided into three areas: for guests, for living quarters, and for employees. It is said that you could see Mt. Fuji from the guest rooms at the time. 🗻 Matsudo is a city with many slopes, so I'm sure it was a wonderful place with a better view at the time. We ordered the store's recomended Real Burger, Teriyaki Tartar Egg Burger. The most popular Real Burger, it was already so delicious and impressive! The wagyu beef patty has the best flavor. The sweet and spicy sauce goes well with it and is delicious.
