#tripblazers My stay at the Quincy Hotel was exceptional. I booked a deluxe room, but what truly set this hotel apart was the 24-hour Executive Lounge, a haven for night owls like myself. The free-flow drinks and snacks made it the perfect place to indulge in a Netflix marathon well into the early hours. What made it even better was the flexible breakfast timing from 7 am to 3 pm, essentially allowing me to have a leisurely brunch after a late-night movie marathon. Quincy Hotel truly understands the needs of its guests, making it a standout choice for a memorable stay.

#muststay at Quincy if you are a medical tourist or prefer convenience place to stay at. Located opposite Mount Elizabeth Hospital and near Paragon Shopping Centre; this hotel is small but very comfortable to stay at. Thanks to Trip that I have chance to experience this stay. I was served by the receptionist, Lina. She is warm and friendly. The room is not that big but perfect for those who would like an intimate getaway too. It come with bathtub (although I saw some rust there), toiletries, and sliding door. There is also an option for pillow to choose from. I love their foss flakes pillow which is quite firm. Only turndown point is no water available, should drink from tap and it is normal tap, not even filterred one 🥲

Time for some booze, especially when it is raining that we can't go anywhere. A nice weather to just tuck in or enjoy being served. Evening canapes at Quincy is from 6-8pm, there are only few choices and alcohol drink limited to 2 servings per person. It is also limited to only wine and beers, while the rest is $10 per order. The staffs here is like hiding and do their own things so no one will serve you unless if you go to the counter. Please go buy dinner, evening canapes will never be enough. I have to say that Quincy Hotel is one of the most unique hotel in Singapore. The fun began even before I stepped in. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw the trolleys the hotel used to transport luggage. For a moment I thought I was in Changi Airport. But hey, the trolleys serve the same purpose so why not! Very creative! Upon stepping in, my brain was hit by various visual stimulus; from the bold colour scheme used to the choice of display items. A sight to behold. Surprise upon surprise awaited us. We were presented ice cream sandwiches during check in. Could choose from 3 flavours; Chocolate, strawberry and cookies and cream. Tried the chocolate and cookies ones, quite yummy and a refreshing treat when checking in! Look out for all the items interspersed within the hotel, mostly very instagramable. The artificial lawn with the nice lighting also adds to the ambience of the hotel, especially at night. The hotel facade also comes to life, with the red lightings and the 12th floor pool particularly standing out! Even if you don’t stay in the hotel, if you’re ever around the area, do pop by to take a look! #muststay

The pool is located on the 12th floor of the hotel. The pool is one of the more unique pool I’ve swim in. The design is such that as you are swimming, you can see the surrounding buildings due to the glass wall. I felt like I was flying through the air. Very interesting. That was also a strip of the pool bottom that is glass bottomed, so can see 12 floors down. Hence, truly felt that I was flying! The pool is sheltered so don’t need to worry even if it’s raining. However, that meant that the pool does not get too much light and can get a little chilly. The pool is 1.2m deep throughout and decent length to do laps. Towels are provided but self service. No staff stationed at the pool. There are a couple of deck chairs but since the pool is sheltered, can forget about getting a tan there. The pool can be considered an infinity pool but not too much of a view due to the location of the hotel. The glass walls and glass bottom is reason enough to visit this pool. This hotel features just two room types; deluxe room and premier room. The great thing about this hotel is that both room types come with club access. More on the club in another post. Booked a stay in the deluxe room. I wrote in prior to my staff informing that I’ll be celebrating my birthday and asked for a little something to celebrate my birthday and also asked for an upgrade to premier room. The hotel replied that a slice of cake would be provided and upgrade is dependent on availability on check in. Check in time is 2pm. I reached at around 1.30pm. Asked about the possibility of upgrade and was pleasantly informed that I have been given a complimentary upgrade to Premier room. I was assigned to room 801. Premier rooms are corner rooms so they are bigger (32sq m) than the deluxe rooms (26 sq m). The other difference is a choice of 5 welcome minibar items. As mine was a complimentary upgrade, was not given the minibar items. The room was quite decent. I particularly love the Bay windows. Can spend time reading by the window. 42 inch Sharp TV. Not a smart tv but still has hdmi slot. the hdmi slot is a separate panel from the tv and I used it for my media stick to watch Netflix. Image quality was decent. Nespresso machine and capsules provided. What was interesting was besides the capsule coffee, coffee sachet were provided too. One thing to note is that bottled water is not provided. No water filter too so either you boil water or drink tap water. Bring your own water if you need too. Bed was a tad too firm for me. There was a pillow menu of 2 choices if you want other pillows. I loved the toilet too. Big, and separate shower cubicle from the bathtub. Two windows provide ample light to the toilet. Bathtub was a little small but fills quickly. Bath salt provided for tub use. Shower pressure was strong and water hot. As mentioned earlier, I indicated it was my birthday and i entered the room to find a printed birthday message on the bed and a very cute toilet with a candle affixed on it. Had a good laugh. Service was great from the front desk. After checking in the room, received a call from the front desk asking me if everything was okay. Nice gesture! All in all, a nice quirky hotel with great service. Well worth a stay! #muststay

#muststay Quincy bathtub Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517 I have a berry surprise at their white themed bathroom at Quincy Hotel Singapore. It is clean and I did not spot any mould. Plus, they are using a good brand quality bathtub, Kaldewei. The same brand of bathtub at Capitol Kempinski and The Westin. The size of the bathtub in my premier room is huge and spacious. Their housekeeping even provided bath salts during my stay. The design of the bathroom is in a way that the shower area is separated from the bathtub, giving space to manoeuvre in the bathroom. The bathroom amenities provided was also of good quality, Kevin Murphy.

#mustvisit Quincy pool Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517 I have found the most interesting pool at Quincy Hotel Singapore. Did you know they have a glass bottom see-through viewing area at their level 12 swimming pool. You can put on your googles and go underwater to have a clearer look. You will look right down into another pool which belongs to the next door condominium. In fact, if you take the route from Paragon Shopping Centre towards Quincy, you will notice this see-through the swimming pool from far. Not only the pool has a see-through glass bottom, the entire pool has see-through glass surrounding it too. You can get an awesome view of Orchard road from level 12. Also, this pool is sheltered so you can avoid the sun.

#muststay Quincy Premier room Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517 A lovely premier room size of 32sqm with a king sized bed 42 inch tv. I had their premier room located at the corner on the second floor for my recent staycation. It was lovely and the floor to ceiling windows had awesome views of the trees and orchard area. The check in was quick and the hotel was not busy. The room had everything I needed and it had clever design to hide the appliances. The door serves as the door for the wardrobe and the bathroom. The ironing board was hidden behind the tv cabinet. Plus they have a pillow menu whereby you can request for your preferred pillow. It is a pretty room and there is also a shortcut to walk towards Scotts road. Follow me to know more about this shortcut.

#mustdo Quincy breakfast Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517 This is my first time knowing that hotel breakfast ends at 3pm and it is at Quincy Hotel Singapore. But their breakfast is limited to one main dish and you will be served with 2 croissants and there are no fruits/yogurt for breakfast. The restaurant was busy and might have forgotten to serve it. I went for breakfast at 11am and the restaurant was busy and I waited for 10 mins for a table. So I will suggest going early for breakfast even though the breakfast ends at 3pm. For western menu, you can choose from their breakfast benny, avo-toast, sweet brioche or big breakfast. For asian menu, you can choose nasi lemak, chicken congee or yee mee noodles. There is also an option to order another dish but payable at $25 nett. I had their big breakfast and nasi lemak for breakfast. The taste was good and the appearance was great for photos too.

#mustdo Quincy sauna & steam room Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517 Don’t miss out using the facilities at Quincy Hotel Singapore. You can enter the 24 hours gym and go directly into the dry suana and wet sauna area. There are complimentary lockers for your usage. I will suggest you to switch on the power for the sauna and let it run for 10 minutes. Then the sauna will be nice and warm up for enjoyment. The towels are readily available and you can use the shower after sauna. Otherwise, you can go back to your room to use your own shower room. There are guests here too and they have check out earlier in the day. So they are using this area until they leave for the airport.

All day lounge access is also true and you get to order coffee/tea/soft drinks with many snacks readily available. No staff will deprive you from ordering more. The best thing of the lounge is that there is a 2 hours session for cocktails and canapé everyday. Their canapé menu changes daily and you can order 2 cocktails per person to try out their signature cocktail. You can also order more but it will be payable. Their canapé portion is adequate and you can always eat more of their snacks. Overall, a lovely lounge with nice and adequate drinks and food serving.

Come here and enjoy a lovely day during happy hours.The lounge area Quincy Hotel Singapore is open 24 hours and you can always help yourself to the drinks and snacks. You can choose to sit outdoor and enjoy the warm air along a quiet stretch of Orchard road. This area is quiet with little traffic. A good place to read a book and enjoy a lovely day.

It is small with two reception counter and the lobby lounge is just right next to it. You will feel very much welcome once you step into the lobby. With its high ceiling and spacious area, there are also plenty of quirky seats around. Their high back chairs are unique and you will be asked to take a seat while waiting for your turn. The display area is updated daily and I got lucky to see a Harry Potter birthday display on last Sunday 31 Jul.

The Lounge, Quincy Hotel Address : 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore Pre-pandemic, until now, May 2022, booking a room at Quincy Hotel (mine was via their website) includes breakfast, 24 hours access to their lounge and evening cocktails. It was a good thing that I booked my stay when they had a member sale last January 2022. According to front desk, they recently changed guest benefits. During our stay, only 2 glasses of wine or 2 beers are complimentary per guest aside from 1 set of finger foods. Cocktails were chargeable already. Since I booked prior to when they made the change, me & my guest were still allowed cocktails. Despite it being “freeflow” for us, we just managed to have one because they were quite strong (which I like!) and we were a bit full already. The Lounge is also where breakfast is served. Guests can choose 1 set from their menu selection and it is served with yoghurt granola with berries and 2 baked pastries. I was able to try their Yee Mee Noodles and Sweet Mr. Brioche (french toast with fruits) while my friend tried their Avo-toast. There were different sets of canapes during the 2 nights I stayed, which I appreciate. My friend and I liked the food and drinks served during breakfast and cocktail hours. We also tried the Monogram Tea Layering Experience they were offering - where you can choose among 4 different combinations of 2 teas. I liked their Chamomile & Shiso Mint. We were looking forward to their soft serve ice cream but it was unavailable during our stay. Ice cream cookies were given instead. They used to have a movie showing at the pool area & offered activities in the hotel such as baking & painting. At the time I stayed (2022), they don’t offer any activites in the hotel anymore. They do, however, send you a digital guidebook by email which they call “Quincy Qurates” - recommending dining spots and activities where you can enjoy exclusive perks by showing your keycard. A few days before the start of my staycay, they sent me email so I can pre-register and choose my preferred 5 complimentary mini bar items. It was mentioned that booking for the pool & gym can be made via the front desk (1 hour slots) but when we got there, no booking was required already. I also haven’t seen anybody manning the pool or gym each time I went there on different days during my stay. The sauna and steam room were still closed as of that time. Despite a few “hiccups” during check-in and transferring to another room (when I had a friend stay during the 2nd night), we still enjoyed our stay albeit the not so fancy room. We appreciated the pillows we’ve chosen from their pillow menu (you can choose between a firm or soft one). It was also nice to have a good soak in their tub. Despite the hotel being a non-luxury one, they provided bath salts - which wasn’t available in other non-luxury hotels I’ve stayed in. Front desk staff and the wait staff at the lounge were all courteous and attentive to their guests’ needs. Kudos to Jacqueline and Gerlyn. Breakfast, canapes and cocktails were a delight! For a change, I didn’t have to wake up very early just to ensure I don’t bypass their breakfast hours ;) The hotel has outdoor seats and tables, good for relaxing and chilling with friends. The hotel’s location is good, it’s near shopping areas. You can have a quick workout by brisk walking to Paragon, Lucky Plaza or other shopping malls in Orchard. This is a nice hotel to stay in when you want to have a staycation and shopping spree. I have been eyeing on this hotel since last year, however it was not opened for staycation booking for awhile since it was converted to a covid isolation facility. Finally I was able to test it out recently. It is located at orchard road, right next to Elizabeth hotel, and York hotel. The location itself no doubt is very convenient for tourists to access multiple shopping mallsband restaurants nearby. I booked a staycay package with complementary light refreshments (canapé and 2 drinks) and room mini bar service (5 drinks and 1 chips) . I actually checked in the hotel quite late, so I had my mini canapé with 1 glass of cranberry juice and 1 glass of negroni at the level 1 bar before I went up to the room since the food service would be ceased at 830pm. In fact the bar at the lobby is 24hr accessible with non alcohol drinks provided, definitely it is convenient for night owls to chill. The room interior is a typical modern urban style, pretty well maintained, and better than quite a number of 4-star hotels. The beautiful warm lights will definitely make you feel comfortable and welcome. #freehotelstay Had a great stay to celebrate my special day with Quincy, thanks to Trip! The 24 hour lounge is definitely one of the highlights, as there is always a snack and drink to satisfy any cravings at any time of the day. The indoor pool is also a nice place to relax rain or shine, be it in the pool or by the pool. The complimentary welcome snacks that come with the Premier room, and the bonus birthday amenities and balloon decorations, are great touches that reflect the warm hospitality of this boutique hotel. Wish that I can come here again!

We visited it at weekend so it is quite crowded.It took a while for us to get a table.The food is ok, but not that great.However, I think it's valued for money.The staff is ok, but not that great either. The ambience overall is ok, a bit noisy with children shout.I like the chicken wing, it is a must try as the spices are very nice.Overall, I strongly recommend it if you have a budget and want to look for a place with good variety of food.😊😊

Had a quinn and benny breakfast at Quincy hotel. Thanks to Trip telegram channel contest that I won this staycation for free. The breakfast is complete with famous Mr Holmes pastries and fresh yogurt. Seems like there is no in house chef at all, and amazingly breakfast timing is from 7am to 3pm! But then, you are only allowed to choose one portion as stated in menu. However, drinks like coffee and tea are free flow. I tried their mixture of jasmine and rose. Its so nice & aromatic! All guests have access to the lounge. The unique thing is that they have breakfast served from 7am to 3pm! Evening cocktail from 6-8pm. Other times of the day, non alcoholic drinks and snacks available to drink and munch on. Evening cocktail comprises of canapés and 2 alcoholic drinks (beer or wine) per pax. The canapés change every day and consist of both hot and cold items. Good enough for a pre dinner snack and yummy to boot! Breakfast had many options to choose from , a few western and Asian options. Each one could choose one and we opted for nasi lemak and big breakfast. The nasi lemak was great but the big breakfast was so so only. Each main comes with 2 pastries and a muesli as well. Some snacks like photo chips, Kacang puteh (local snacks), ice cream sandwich available all day, together with tea, coffee and soft drinks. Best thing I like about the lounge is the decor. The indoor decor consist of dried flowers per table which looked really nice. But I liked outdoors better. The wooden table, greenery, water features made it feel like I was relaxing in a resort overseas and not in orchard Road. # The lounge, plus the service and the room makes Quincy Hotel a must stay option for locals and tourists alike. #muststay

#mustdo Quincy shortcut Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517 I like to discover new routes by walking around the area and this is a route from Quincy Hotel Singapore to Scotts road, Far East Plaza. You will cross over to York Hotel, enter the car park. Both Goodwood Park hotel and York hotel share this carpark. Then you can continue walking towards Goodwood Park hotel and you can reach Far East Plaza. Otherwise, you can also use the residential walkway and walk towards Paragon Shopping centre, which is on the main Orchard shopping area. Both routes are good for those who do not drive and also there is no public bus stop at Quincy. Just remember to pack an umbrella for unexpected showers. r
