One-day tour guide for Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
You can choose to transit through Trinidad and Tobago when flying from Guyana to Miami
It's also considered one of the more developed countries in the Caribbean region
Since it's a less popular destination, there are very few tourists along the way
A one-day tour in Port of Spain after landing, with smooth and free transit entry🆓
Car rental costs $60-80 per day, but with limited time, we chose to take a taxi~
🚖From the airport to the city center is basically $30-40 one way~
It's quite difficult to hail a taxi in the city, so we mostly walked🚶🏻♂️

📍Royal Botanic Gardens
Walking to the Royal Botanic Gardens, one of the few attractions🆓
Nothing special, just a place for locals to relax
📍National Museum & Art Gallery
You can visit the National Museum and Art Gallery along the way, with Memorial Park across the street
📍Woodford Square
The busiest place in the city, with buildings around the square worth seeing👀
The south side has Trinity Cathedral⛪️
Not far away is the uniquely designed National Library📖
📍The Red House
The must-visit Parliament building is on the west side of the square
There's a museum inside that you can visit
This is also one of the most classic buildings in Port of Spain
.
Overall, it's a city suitable for a stopover visit
The whole city feels very "new", more industrialized compared to other islands
If you want a beach holiday, you'll need to stay a bit longer~
