Qizanggou is located in the northwest of Sichuan Province, north of Chuanzhusi Town, adjacent to Huanglong Airport. In the back mountain part of the famous Huanglong Scenic Spot and Jiuzhaigou Scenic Spot. The area is about 50 square kilometers, in which the grass is deep and the trees are dense, the peaks are numerous, and the stream is gurgling but uninhabited. Qizanggou consists of Kakagou, Awenggou and Hongxinggou. The greater charm of Qizanggou lies in its primitiveness and serenity. There is no trace of human development in the scenery along the road. Walking in the ravine with an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters, breathing the pristine air, I came to the suddenly bright Changhaizi. The rippling blue waves of Haizi are especially spectacular under the blue sky. The sense of achievement in crossing the pass, accompanied by the oncoming snow-capped mountains from far and near, is shocking. Caohai is a typical plateau wetland. Although the area is not as large as that of Ruoergai, its purity and primitiveness will make you involuntarily take heart. Hongxing Haizi is even more irresistible: the snow-capped mountains visible from the back, the quiet forests, and the green Haizi are all intoxicating. Cordyceps and matsutake mushrooms can also be found along the way this season. The most beautiful time for Qizanggou is from June to October every year. In June, the alpine rhododendrons are in full bloom. In October, the mountains are full of gold, dazzling.
