Spent the weekend in Yuanjiang for an early taste of summer.🫧 This place has *so* much amazing food! 🚄Yuxi—Yuanjiang 40 min direct high-speed train 🏠Qixia Mountain Hot Spring Garden Hotel Ten minutes from the city center, beautiful environment, lots of fun and delicious food nearby. We booked a hot spring room with a private hot spring bath.♨️ The room was very comfortable, surrounded by greenery outdoors. Soaking in the hot spring and enjoying afternoon tea was very chill.🫧 ♨️More than twenty hot spring pools, all surrounded by greenery. Not too hot. My favorite was the Frost's Descent pool. Super photogenic!! 🍴Lots of variety in the buffet restaurant, including local Yuanjiang cold dishes. The pressed oil rice noodles at the Guoxiang Siji Chinese Restaurant were also delicious!! You can also try Gao Shifu's cold rice noodles, Old Neighborhood beef offal and beef steak rice noodles, and potato and chicken feet at Ziye Restaurant Bar…

| A hidden gem for hot springs near Kunming. 🌞 In the cold winter, there is a place that is like a warm spring wonderland, and that is Yuanjiang! This small town in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, is the largest dry and hot river valley basin in the province, with an average winter temperature of 22°C, making it an ideal place to escape the cold. 📍 Location: Yuanjiang Qixia Mountain Hot Spring Garden Hotel, Yuanjiang County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. It is very convenient to get there from Kunming, with a high-speed train taking only 1.5 hours, and a self-drive taking only 2.5 hours. 🌟 Highlights: • The rooms are warm and spacious, and opening the door makes you feel relaxed. The small courtyard surrounded by greenery also has a private hot spring pool, which makes children very happy. • The outdoor hot spring pool is great, and the water is freshly filled by the staff, crystal clear. You can take your children to the Starlight Night Market for some fun, but the Ganzhuang BBQ Night Market is not recommended, as the food is not fresh and the taste is average.
