I stayed at Qiu Guo for 4 days (changed to two different Qiu Guo) and they will help you wash your clothes and dry them neatly in the room! I put my clothes in the washing machine before going out in the morning, and then go out to play, and when I come back at night, my clothes are dry! Hotel is located in 礼士 hutong. A short walk will bring you to the Main Street. Plenty of food options along the street be it halah, fast food, cafeteria and Chinese cuisine. A short walk about 10-15 minutes to soak in the local atmosphere will bring you to Wangfujing shopping belt. Checkin to hotel is fast and without hitch. Staff are friendly and readily offers you a warm Chinese tea to quench thirst. I stayed for 11 nights and didn’t pre booked any breakfast but nonetheless, the kitchen staff readily accept last minute walkin request for breakfast. It’s really affordable and delicious at 28rmb a set and payment to be done at the checkin reception. Overall had a wonderful stay at the hotel and felt at home. But being a courtyard house, the walls are thin and do be mindful of the noise though. But that shouldn’t discourage you from sampling an experience of life in a hutong which is fast disappearing.
