The rain has stopped and the temperature is comfortable. Although there is no blue sky and white clouds, the journey continues. Although Qiongzhou Cultural Street is far away from the city center, the customs and culture reflected here are still very attractive. Especially the Dafudi Folk Museum located at the entrance. Dafudi is located on Qiongzhou Cultural Street next to the old iron bridge on Binjiang Road in Haikou City. It is a museum that showcases Hui-style architectural art and Hainan folk culture. The term "dafudi" generally refers to the private residence of a civil official. The Dafudi is the family background of the scholar-officials. It is a symbol of status and reflects the prominence of a family. The "Daifu Di" in the Qing Dynasty generally refers to the residences of officials above the fifth rank "Fengzhi Daifu", which has high historical and artistic value for the study of ancient architectural culture. Dafudi truly restores the living scenes inside the residence of literati in the Qing Dynasty, with a lobby, study, main house, wing rooms, back hall, flower hall, back room and kitchen. The tables, chairs, utensils, ceramics, calligraphy and paintings, potted plants and other furnishings in the house are cleverly arranged, combining Ming and Qing culture and art with daily life, and reflecting the life pursuits and ideological interests of the scholar-official class.

Located on the picturesque banks of the Nandu River in Haikou, Qiongzhou Cultural Style Street embodies the architectural charm of the Li and Miao ethnic groups and the tropical garden landscape of Hainan. It is a themed cultural street dedicated to the inheritance of folk culture. Within the street, there are a plethora of gourmet restaurants such as the Mongolian Camp, Ocean City, and Jinshui Jiangxian; the Zangshi Pavilion showcasing precious jade culture with gold silk jade and raw jadeite stones; the Haizang Pavilion displaying the culture of sea salvage and ancient ceramics; the Li Pottery Museum exhibiting Li pottery craftsmanship and works; and the Dafudi Ancient Residence conveying the art of Hui-style architecture and Hainan folk culture, among other diverse cultural museums. When I visited, it was already the off-season, and the weather was not good, which made it seem like I was the only person in the entire scenic area. The park has a variety of volcanoes and is a natural geological museum. From the commanding heights of the volcano crater, you can overlook Haikou city and the Qiongzhou Strait, offering charming views. Following the trails in the scenic area, you will see lush tropical plants along the way, as well as landscapes left by volcanic eruptions such as basalt and lava flows. There is also a volcanic stone culture park that displays village gates, stone mills, stone bowls, stone basins, stone tables, and sugar cane tools made from volcanic stones over 2,000 years ago, making you feel as if you've stepped back into the Stone Age. The trail ends at the Volcano Temple, with a horizontal tablet inscribed with 'Mountains Match the Heavens' and stone tablets engraved with 'Great King God', 'Earth God', and 'Yingzhu God'. There are 199 steps on the slope, with 99 representing the Double Ninth Festival and 100 meaning that completing this volcano crater will lead to a long life of a hundred years. Further up is the Ma'anling volcano crater, one of the world's most intact extinct volcano craters, with a depression in the middle and two peaks rising to the north and south, respectively called Fenglu Ridge and Baozi Ridge, which from a distance look like a huge saddle, hence the name Ma'anling. There are 5 viewing spots along the circular mountain trail where you can enjoy the view of the volcano crater. Among them, the Ma'anling volcano crater is the highest point in Haikou, with an altitude of 222.8 meters, offering a great view on clear days, and many tourists take photos here. Another notable viewing spot is the Qianzhuque (Viewing Haikou) platform, from which you can see the blue sea and sky of the Qiongzhou Strait, the high-rise buildings of Haikou city like a peacock spreading its tail; looking south, you can see the rolling volcanoes covered with tropical rainforest, offering enchanting scenery. In addition to viewing the volcano crater, you can also follow the trail into the bottom of Fenglu Ridge crater, which looks like a huge pot, and it is said that the larger area can accommodate tens of thousands of people. The entire village is made up of the most characteristic volcanic stone tile houses, and it is the most well-preserved volcanic stone village. Haikou Teddy Bear Museum Located in Guanlan Lake New Town, Haikou, it is connected to the Teddy Bear Museum in Jeju Island, Korea, and is a teddy bear-themed cultural exhibition hall owned and directly operated by the Korean corporation JSF Company in China.
