Don’t ask, it’s in Xichang! A lakeside hotel on the shore of Qionghai Lake! Going out the back door is the Qionghai Beach, which is very suitable for friends who are traveling to Xichang during the holidays! The convenient location makes it easy to bring parents and children! ~ ✅The location is excellent. The hotel's lawn is connected to the trail to Qionghai Lake. It takes only 2 minutes to walk from the room to the seaside boardwalk. It is a good place to watch the sunrise over Qionghai Lake! Opposite the main entrance of the hotel is Lushan Mountain, less than 10 minutes’ walk away. It is very close to the quaint town, Bird Watching Island and Lushan Mountain✌! ~ ✅The hotel is designed as a garden villa, facing the tree-lined Qionghai Lake. If you're planning a trip to Xichang, be sure to pack sunscreen. The UV rays are strong there, and the weather is quite hot, so wear light clothing. Most of the tourist attractions are around Qionghai Lake, and you can visit them all in two or three days! 🚗Transportation: It takes about three hours by high-speed train from Chengdu. I chose a hard sleeper train, which took a little over five hours. It was like the business class of a high-speed train and more affordable. Once you arrive in Xichang, you can take a taxi (which is more expensive) or the No. 106 bus, a special tourist line that goes around the lake. There's also the K111 bus that goes directly to Xiaoyucun Fishing Village, where you can enjoy local barbecue (the bus is more cost-effective). -Day 1: (I arrived in the afternoon) I checked in near Qionghai 17 Degrees. You can rent a bike inside the scenic area and cycle along the lake, visit Jinlin Beach, and stroll through the Moonlit Town. In the evening, I went to the local Xiaoyucun Fishing Village for barbecue. It was super affordable and delicious. Day 2: I took the No. 106 bus and got off at the Lushan stop. You can take the cable car up the mountain for 35 RMB per person (I recommend taking the sightseeing bus, which is only 5 RMB per person). You can visit the Slave Museum, but we took the bus directly to the top of the mountain due to time constraints. Be careful of the monkeys on the mountain; they might snatch your bag, so it's best to carry a stick. Further up, you can visit Guangfu Temple and other ancient temples and enjoy a panoramic view of Qionghai Lake. We chose to take the slide down the mountain, which cost 40 RMB per person (a bit pricey, but quite thrilling). In the afternoon, we went to Dashiban Ancient Village. The red walls of Lingyin Temple are perfect for photos, and it's mostly people taking portrait photos there. Apart from taking pictures, there isn't much else to do. Then, we went to Jianchang Ancient City to experience the local culture. (Most attractions are free.) 😍Local specialties: Handmade Liangfen, Xiaoyucun barbecue, Huopen barbecue, Liangshan burgers, Drunken Shrimp, and Liangshan Xue (the fruit there is quite sweet, and strawberries are only 5 yuan per kilogram, which is a good deal). Day 3: We slept in, then went to the farmers market to buy souvenirs, such as Yi embroidery and Jianchang pressed duck. After that, we packed our bags and headed back. It’s really hard to comment on the weather in Chengdu in winter. Since I had a child, I’m more afraid of the cold and don’t want to go out at all. But the children still have to stay up on weekends. During the day, I climbed the city wall to take pictures, strolled around and ate. The night view was beautiful at night. The two places are not far away. ✅Lushan This is the highest mountain in Xichang City. There are many monkeys on the mountain, but the monkeys here are not as rude as those in Mount Emei. It’s okay if they don’t have food in their hands. Walk up the mountain (about 20 minutes) to Guangfu Temple Or take the sightseeing bus up the mountain (5 yuan for a few minutes) to Guangfu Temple ➡️Visit the Liangshan Yi Slave Society Museum ➡️The observation deck overlooks the entire city🏙 ➡️🚠Cable car/slide down the mountain (you can take the most beautiful sea view cableway) You can also walk down the mountain. At present, Xichang Qionghai Hotel has more than ten buildings of different sizes and functions (the hotel map is placed at the end). This time we stayed in a balcony room (Figure 4) located in the "Guanhai Building" (Figure 3) of the hotel. You can see Qionghai Sea from the balcony (Figure 5). Guanhai Building appears to be a newer building in the entire hotel, with a fitness center (swimming pool) and lakeside plaza on both sides of the building. The lawn in front of Guanhai Tower faces the Qionghai Trail (Figure 7). There is also an entrance and exit connecting the hotel and the Qionghai Trail. You can enter and exit by swiping your room card. There are several similar entrances and exits in different locations of the hotel. Go out and walk left on the trail to reach Qionghai Wetland along the lake. Not far to the right is the Moonlight Town and two cruise ship docks. The hotel is very lively during the day. In addition to hotel guests, there are also many tourists who come to check in, take photos, and eat and consume.

Thanks to the high-speed rail! Xichang can be visited 500 more times!! Since the high-speed rail opened... sometimes I impulsively buy a ticket to Xichang, it's really much more chill than Chengdu. And you don't have to go to too many places, just take a walk by Qionghai Lake, lie on the lawn, sit on a chair by the lake and look at the sky, it's already very healing. When walking by Qionghai Lake, the sun is quite scorching, drinking a cup of ice-cold yogurt cools you down instantly! Sichuan people are really too blessed... you don't even need to leave the province to find such refreshing beauty, everything you see is pure.

This guide is suitable for people like me who come to Xichang to "lay flat" on weekends. Based on the basic principle of leisure and vacation, the scenic spots and route planning are close and comfortable, which is completely unsuitable for special forces. Directly navigate to Qionghai Bay Baiyue Resort Hotel, walk into the hotel after getting off the bus, and you can see it when you walk to the beach! ⛰️Lushan Scenic Area: We took the cable car up and down, 55 yuan/person (children are free), mainly because my daughter didn't dare to take the slide, otherwise she would definitely experience it. However, there is an advantage of taking the cable car down the mountain, you can see the sea view! ! After getting off the cable car, you can walk to the viewing platform and overlook the entire Qionghai. You can visit Guangfu Temple on the mountain, and the architecture of the temple is also beautiful! There are also many wild monkeys. 🧱Jianchang Ancient City: It has a bit of the flavor of Chang'an. I came during the day. It is said that the night view is very beautiful and there are many delicacies. You can visit the Sipailou, South Street, Yongquan Street, and Yanyu Bookstore. There are too many costumes and photos in the ancient city. If you are interested, you can try it. 🌛Moonlight Style Town: It is only a few minutes away from the back door of Qionghai Hotel. It is very pleasant to walk by the lake in the evening. There are many children to play with, and there are also many special foods and music performances. 🍲Food: 🐟Spicy fish slices in a small fishing village: When you take a taxi, the driver will ask you if you are in the blue sign or the red sign. I was confused. When I arrived, I asked and found out that it was a store. I recommend their special fish slices and beef. Drink with your eyes closed; the small intestine feels average, and the clams are not delicious. 🐮Mecca Restaurant: Recommended by a local classmate, it feels especially suitable for children. There are also many people at noon, and basically all locals eat here. Their toothpick beef is very special, and the golden fish is also delicious. 🦢Black Swan Cafe: The best cafe in Xichang, right in the Qionghai Hotel. I thought it was just named this, but I didn’t expect that there are really many black swans. Be sure to come early. I went at 4 pm. There was only one cake left, and I had to wait a long time for the outdoor seat. 🍖Special brazier barbecue: I originally planned to eat at the second brother next door, but when I went there, I found that it was closed, so I chose the one with the most family members nearby. 🍴Shuiyunjian Lakeside Western Restaurant: Right in the hotel, the scenery is better than the taste. 🏨Playing in the hotel The new building of Qionghai Hotel, where I stayed for two nights, is very playable. The number of words is limited🚫, and I will publish a special issue next time. Traveling is a process of constant trade-offs, especially vacation travel. The sunset at Jinlin Beach is said to be very beautiful, but I didn’t go because it was too far and there were too many people; boating on the lake is also good, but my daughter doesn’t like boating, so she didn’t go; there are also small fishing villages and Dashi Village, which have good reputations, but because I want to be more relaxed, I gave up. The Jacaranda trees in Xichang are in full bloom from April to May, which is incredibly beautiful.
