Jinlin sand beach is a perfect location to enjoy the sun while making sand castles next to the water body. It’s easy to find a parking and there is a shuttle service to the beach. We also enjoyed a group cycle on our way back. Though it was tough to climb, the way down was equally fun. There is also a Buddhist temple nearby, the sound of prayers are soothing and relaxing. Qionghai Park is a great place to enjoy the sea and sunbathe. Jinlin Beach is the best place to watch the sunset. The unique orange walls of Lingying Temple in Dashiban Ancient Town attract many tourists to take photos. The bus around the lake connects the scenic spots along Qionghai Lake, which is very convenient. Bus 106 also goes to most of the scenic spots, but note that the fare is charged by section, and you need to scan the code when getting on and off the bus.

❤️ Depart on the first day of the Lunar New Year and return on the fourth day. It was so nice to enjoy the sunshine every day in winter. The only downside was that it was too dry and windy! Be sure to bring a sun hat and drink plenty of water. 🎉 Hotel: We chose Xichang Konggang Yunxiang Hotel, which is right next to Xiaoyucun. The environment is elegant. We booked two rooms: one with a courtyard for us and the kids, and one with a balcony for the elderly. We requested that the rooms be arranged together, and they were just upstairs and downstairs. We enjoyed the sunshine and tea in the courtyard every day, which was really chill. The kids loved swinging in the children's play area and checked in every morning after breakfast. The only downside was that the service was not up to par during the Lunar New Year, and the breakfast was average. Everything else was fine. 🎉 Fun: There were a lot of people at Xichang's attractions during the Lunar New Year. We spent two days in Xiaoyucun. There is a bird ecology museum, which is very suitable for children. There were surprisingly few people. There are various bird fossils, bird photography exhibitions, and interactive programs. It took us nearly two hours to finish the tour, and we could experience VR for free at the end. (The kids had more material for their diaries) ✨ On the second day, we rode bicycles and electric bikes in Xiaoyucun and leisurely toured the greenway, taking deep breaths of fresh air. 🎉 Feeding seagulls: Remember to feed the seagulls in the morning! Bring your own bread. You can choose between Guanniao Island Wetland Park and the Qionghai Lake opposite Lushan Scenic Area. We chose to take a small boat to get close to the seagulls. ❤️ Jianchang Ancient Town: Jianchang Ancient Town is not big, with only one main road to climb, but it is still worth a visit. There is also a vegetable market, which is very lively. We couldn't stop eating the snacks along the way. We had fried dough sticks and oil tea at Sisters Oil Tea, which were delicious! ❤️ Food: We tried rice noodles, fire pit barbecue, Chinese food, and snacks. The following are the ones I would like to visit again. 🎉 1. Minghua Restaurant: The farmhouse fried jar meat was so delicious, fatty but not greasy, and went well with rice. The small pumpkin fish soup was also very delicious. 🎉 2. The rice noodles at Sanxiongdi Fresh Mutton Restaurant were amazing. Who understands how happy I was to see that pot of mint? 🎉 3. Jianxin Spicy Korean Potatoes: The cold noodles are a must-try! The seasoning was amazing, and everything else was fine. 🎉 4. Pinpin Wild Vegetable Copper Hot Pot: Meatballs, chicken, cured ribs, ham... The ingredients were very solid and suitable for all ages. There are two kinds of dipping sauces. I think the slightly spicy one is better. 🎉 We had a fire pit barbecue, but it was too average, so I won't recommend it. As for barbecue, I still prefer Feng Barbecue in Emei.

Waking up and opening the curtains to a healing view is a great way to start the day. The rooms are stylishly designed, with large bathtubs and balconies facing Qionghai Lake. Sitting on the balcony with friends, gazing at the sea, and daydreaming is pure bliss. The rooms are also perfect for taking photos! The hotel also offers convenient services like luggage storage and room service, making it a hassle-free stay. But the fun doesn't stop there. The rooftop meditation room looks like a hollow cube from afar and is a great photo spot up close. The rooftop bar offers panoramic sea views, coffee, soft drinks, and light meals. Sitting on a deck chair, gazing at the sea, and relaxing is a wonderful experience! You can also enjoy delicious seafood without leaving the hotel. The all-day buffet restaurant offers air-freighted seafood that's truly delicious! These "seaside" vacation days have been unforgettable. I've been to Xichang many times, and this time I was lucky enough to visit just before the temperature dropped. I stayed at the Guantang Hotel. On the first night, I visited Jianchang Ancient City. I read a travel guide that recommended visiting at night when the lights are on, and it was indeed a great experience. It's worth a visit. There's also the only DQ in Xichang. I don't recommend the other snack shops as they aren't very professional. I suggest having dinner early and then going for a walk. Jinlin Beach is a must-visit place for kids. The facilities are noticeably worse this year, but it's still crowded. Xiaoyucun is also worth a visit if you have time. The scenery isn't as good as Qionghai Wetland Park on the other side, but there are sightseeing buses to Bird Island. Moonlight Town has coffee, tea, bars, and lots of seagulls. You can take a boat to feed the seagulls. Tangyuan is right next to the hotel, and it's a one-stop shop for food, drinks, entertainment, and fun for kids.

It's cold everywhere in November I want to find a warm and unconventional place to go out and play. I decided to choose this small city in Sichuan There are many drama performances to watch.
