My favorite is the rooftop infinity pool. The water is crystal clear, and it's never crowded. After a swim, I enjoyed sunbathing on a lounge chair and reading a book—pure bliss. The location is very convenient and you can walk to many popular restaurants within 10 minutes. Recommend Nan Xiaozhu, a Thai boat noodle snack shop, and ate there twice Then you can walk to enjoy the cool breeze and have a spa dinner. It's so comfortable to spend the winter in Xishuangbanna in November. The mornings and evenings are naturally cool like spring, while the afternoons are like a tropical summer. Before coming, I thought Gaozhuang would be noisy, but after staying in a detached wooden house, I found it to be a quiet and green place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We had a delicious afternoon tea with the kids, then soaked in the blue diamond-like pool, and felt like we were on vacation in Thailand. The family room with a rainforest-like atmosphere was very comfortable, with complete facilities and good service. Traveling during off-peak season is so relaxing. We played in the water, then went for a walk to a nearby Thai spa and dinner. After nightfall, we went to the Starlight Night Market and Ganbai Street.
