❤️ Qingning Palace, the central palace of Shenyang Imperial Palace, was built in 1625. It was the residence of Emperor Huang Taiji and Empress Xiaoduan Borjigit Zhezhe, and the place where Emperor Huang Taiji died.
🧡 The sleeping palace in the east is not open to the public. The main attractions are:
1⃣️ West Warm Pavilion, where there is a fire kang that connects three corners. The altar is in the west. This is where Emperor Huang Taiji and Empress Xiaoduanwen held banquets and sacrifices. (Pictures 3-7)
2⃣️ On both sides of the statue of Guan Gong on the wall, there are plaques written by Emperor Qianlong "Wanfu Zhiyuan" and Emperor Jiaqing "Hezhuanyanqi". "Wanfu Zhiyuan" means: all blessings come from God; "Hezhuanyanqi" means: gather the aura of heaven and earth to make happiness last. (Picture 5)
3⃣️ The imperial pen of Emperor Daoguang on the door "Qingning Palace Jingji" (Picture 8)
4⃣️ In the courtyard in front of Qingning Palace, there is a Soron pole used for the Shamanism Heaven Worship Ceremony, which is one of the symbols of the Manchu residence. The Manchu ancestors worshipped the crow as the "totem" of their nation. The tin pot on it is filled with grain and minced meat for the crows to eat. (Picture 9)
