The Path to the Summit of Qinglong Mountain in Tangshan
Walking all the way to the Shimen (Stone Gate), the path to the summit is nearly at its end. Only a short distance remains before reaching the peak.
So here at Shimen, I'm not in a hurry to reach the summit. Instead, I take the time to check in properly, rest for a while, and have something to eat. Especially, the view opposite the Shimen is simply stunning. The mountains and snowy fields under the blue sky and white clouds look particularly beautiful🧐
After reaching the summit, I didn't go straight to check in at the buildings there. Instead, I walked a bit further along another path from the summit because I wanted to see if it was possible to descend the mountain from there, what kind of road it was, and if there were any other landscapes to see. It would be the same to rush back to the summit to take photos later.
Indeed, on the way down from the summit to the other side, I saw something like a stone gate of a city wall, where I did a simple check-in🙇
After passing through that city gate, I saw another breathtaking view. This is the most beautiful landscape painting in Qinglong Mountain.
On the left side, there is a row of scenery similar to the Great Wall path. Sitting on the stone steps and looking at the peaks opposite, the beauty is immediately apparent🧐. And those distant peaks, countless and overlapping, inspire a desire to travel thousands of miles to see them🤷♂️
From different angles, each view is a masterpiece, especially now with the strong sunlight, which adds a lot of power to the beauty😁

Qinglong Mountain
Qinglong Mountain is located in Luan County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is one of the three famous mountains named with Jieshi Mountain and Pan Mountain. It was known as Qingliang Mountain in ancient times, and also known as Jielong Ridge. The peaks of Qinglong Mountain are arranged in a row, with winding paths leading to secluded places. There are both steep cliffs and misty seas of clouds, and there are religious relics of nine temples and eighteen temples, and many of them have myths and legends. In 1959, it was opened as a state-owned forest farm, planted with cypress and pine trees, and the forest area reached more than 80%.

Qinglong Mountain is bounded by the peak, and there is once a large-scale Buddhist temple on both sides. The flat side of the mountain in the west is Yangu Temple. Because it is under the mountain, it is commonly called the lower temple. The Qinglong Mountain is not high. It belongs to the shallow hills, but it is magnificent.
