While there are a few small shops in the area, they might not cater to every palate. If you have specific food preferences, it's a good idea to purchase your preferred food and enjoy it on-site.
🚶♀️ 🍃 Escape to Bai Guoshan City Leisure Scenic Area. While it's not internationally famous, its vast expanse offers endless exploration – and the best part is, it's free to enter.
Discover country-themed buildings perfect for photos, camp by the serene lake, enjoy a fountain show, go boating, or experience the amusement park's modest offerings.
Living nearby, I relish this refreshing oasis. It's an open invitation to unwind, explore, and embrace the outdoors – all without spending a dime. 🍂🏞️

Hi Terii
Finding summer in cold and wintery Qingdao
Getting There: You can both use the metro combined with the bus, or the easy solution is to take a Didi (Taxi)
The park is filled with many different parts and attractions. During winter you will find that many of the attractions are closed, however, it is still a great place. The park is huge, so remember to dress warm and put on a good pair of walking shoes.
The most amazing attraction during winter, is the Botanical Museum which is filled with flowers, waterfalls, and a small water world that kids will love.
During winter, they also have a snow hill where you can get a nice sled-rush and some good laughs.
Remember to bring your own food as they currently (probably only during winter) don’t have any open restaurants.

Autumn scenery of the Expo Park.
The Expo Park is a large entertainment and sightseeing botanical garden that integrates garden and horticultural displays, sightseeing and photography, mountain climbing and fitness, parent-child entertainment, and cultural learning. Covering an area of about 187 hectares, the park is lush with trees, fresh air, and about 1,700 species of plants, with a vegetation coverage rate of up to 71%. The park is laid out in a spatial structure of "two axes and twelve gardens," including the north-south "Flower Avenue Axis" and the east-west "Shady Avenue Axis," as well as twelve themed gardens such as the Science Garden, Tea Garden, Flower Garden, and Mountain Garden. Visitors can stroll along the Flower Avenue to visit the International Garden, then head to the Earth Pond, Theme Landscape Square, and Sky Water, and then climb up to the Science Garden to visit the Theme Pavilion and the Botanical Pavilion. Nearly 100 domestic and international exhibition gardens from the 2014 Qingdao World Horticultural Expo have been preserved, which are scattered throughout the park, providing visitors with a rich viewing experience.

Enjoy Painting: Spend a Whole Day at Qingdao Expo Park
Visiting Qingdao Expo Park in autumn, the leaves of the dawn redwood trees start to turn yellow, creating a beautiful autumn scene. This is a perfect season for painting, especially for nature-loving artists, as Qingdao's dawn redwood forest is a source of inspiration.
While painting, you can feel the gentle autumn breeze bringing a touch of coolness, making you feel delighted. Visitors around are also enjoying this moment of tranquility, either taking photos or sitting quietly, sharing their love for nature. Such a painting trip is not only a challenge to your skills but also a cleansing of the soul.

Visiting the World Expo Garden in spring, every flower in the garden is a meticulously crafted piece of art, bringing warmth to people
📍Address: Shandong Province, Qingdao City, Licang District, World Expo Avenue
Route
The Qingdao World Horticultural Exposition Garden is located on the eastern section of World Expo Avenue in Licang District. Visitors can choose to take a bus or subway to get there:
- Subway: Take the subway line 11 to the World Expo Garden station, then transfer to bus 643 to the World Expo Garden station.
The combination of mountains and water, the slope of the exhibition garden's land is relatively flat, and the mountain forest area can serve as a background, forming a large environment. From a horticultural professional perspective, having the mountain behind and facing the sun can create very good climatic conditions, conducive to the growth of various plants and flowers.
Heavenly water, earth ponds, Ferris wheel, plant museum, Metasequoia Road, the world's myriad of beauties can all be presented here. Some say that one should always give oneself a reason to visit the Qingdao World Expo Garden, to converse with nature in a corner of the city, to walk from the bathing sunset into the vibrant life, to see the full bloom of flowers from the full view of the morning glow
Located in the northeast side of the Qingdao World Expo Garden's plant museum, Jellyfish World is the only jellyfish exhibition hall in China that has been built on a mountain so far, integrating jellyfish and other marine life displays, education, and scientific research.

Qingdao·No one told me there was such a tropical rainforest
After so many years, the Expo Park has also become a place for leisure and entertainment for the people of Qingdao. Revisiting the architecture in the China Garden🗿🏟️🏯, it's all full of memories.
Among the many parks, my favorite is still the Botanical Museum🌴🌵!
Passing through the jellyfish pavilion is the long-awaited Botanical Museum, and for a moment, I thought I had traveled to Singapore's Changi Airport✈️🌴!
Tall palm trees🌳, maidenhair ferns🪴, and kidney ferns hanging on the walls create a tropical rainforest~
In addition to the tropical plants rarely seen in the north, there are also towering giant cacti🌵, which are jaw-dropping masterpieces!
