It is not recommended to drive by yourself. There are not many parking spaces at the entrance of the botanical garden and parking is difficult!

✅Qingdao Botanical Garden, located at No. 7 Yunyang Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City, was built in 1976. It is located on the southern foot of Taiping Mountain, adjacent to Zhongshan Park in the west, Zhulinshan Park in the north, Zhanshan Temple in the east, and Badaguan Scenic Area in the south!
✅Enter from the main gate of the botanical garden and walk eastwards. There is a pond with frozen water surface and large caramel-colored Metasequoia trees. Metasequoia is known as a living fossil among plants. They are tall and straight with straight trunks!
✅There is also the same red wall as on University Road. There are few people here, so you can take as many photos as you want! There is no need to queue at all. The red wall stretches along the mountain road in a winding manner, and the photos are beautiful!
✅Tingtao Pavilion on the top of the mountain
Tingtao Pavilion has two floors. From here you can overlook the beautiful Fushan Bay, the third bathing beach, and the skyscrapers of the fashionable city. There are few people and the photos are great!
✅For lunch, you can go to One Mao's secret maocai, a big hot portion with beef, tripe, vegetables, noodles, and just the right amount of spiciness!
