[2025 Qingdao ] Travel Guide for Qingdao Beer Festival West Coast venue (Updated Apr)

We spent the weekend in Qingdao and checked out Chinas October fest. Located just next to Golden Beach on the west coast. This is said to be the main venue and biggest one. We had a stroll around during daytime and came back around 8 in the evening. The festival itself is free to enter and there are tons of options for beer and other beverages, there are also plenty of options for food all over the place. When we entered at the main gate in the evening there were fireworks coming from the beach area behind the main stage. There were several stages around playing all different kind of music. There are lots of huge beer tents of different beer brands around the area both familiar brands and some I have never heard of, both foreign brands and several Chinese. We ended up at a little restaurant by the little German village inside the festival where we had local beer and some seafood. I do recommend finding a place to live nearby the festival area as it was really hard to get a DiDi out of there after closing time. Also please put on some comfy shoes as the area is massive.
