Natural scenery
Qingbi Creek, in Cangshan near Dali, Yunan, flows between Shengying Peak and Malong Peak. With its uniquely superb valley scenery, Qingbi is seen to represent the 18 Creeks of Cangshan. The Creek has three pools: the Lower Pool, the Middle Pool, and the Upper Pool, and they are usually visited in this order. Among these is the Pool of the Azure Dragon, marked by two large Chinese characters carved into the overlooking cliff face. It is said that the fir and pine trees on either side make it look as if a dragon were hiding in the water.
