HALLE PERKINS
Stop asking! It's in Shenzhen, where the indie culture park has a high rate of film production
✨ This movie-esque hidden gem, Qianjiang Art Center, is a treasure trove of niche culture.
The architecture is elegant and stately, blending French art galleries, idyllic retreats, and traditional Chinese buildings,
and it also houses many art collections, making it a feast for the eyes for art lovers.
✨ The predecessor of Qianjiang Art Center was the headquarters of a domestic furniture export brand company,
now transformed into an art and cultural creative office park, and open to the public for free.
✨ The art center has gathered old artifacts from around the world and placed them here.
As a result, home art pieces can be seen everywhere,
classic paintings, furniture art pieces, with a casual switch between Chinese and Western styles
that gives you the illusion of traveling back and forth between the West and the Republic of China era.
🌟 Must-visit spots
1⃣️ Lotus Pond
Right at the entrance of the art center's parking lot, there is a small lotus pond filled with lotus flowers, perfect for friends who like to take photos in traditional costumes.
2⃣️ Rose Garden
Located in the atrium of the art center, visible after passing through the first building.
The entrance and exit are traditional buildings with exquisite wood carvings, which will be beautiful when open, worth revisiting.
Retro rickshaws are available on both sides of the Rose Garden for experiencing a ride (or pull).
You can also climb the stairs on both sides of the garden to visit the treehouses.
PS: There are quite a few mosquitoes
3⃣️ Art Gallery
This is the French-style popular gallery, with three floors,
each with slightly different designs, featuring different curtains, tables, chairs, and chandeliers.
The overall style is luxurious and elegant, suitable for photography, producing vintage masterpieces, or just for resting.
4⃣️ Idyllic Retreat
A large circular garden, which is a private garden on the roof.
Escalators on both sides of the third-floor art gallery lead up here, and the rooftop is interconnected.
The garden is planted with various vegetables and fruits, including grapes, mangoes, and wampees, as well as various plants,
and chickens, ducks, geese, and peacocks are also available for viewing,
with swings and various Chinese pavilions provided for resting.
The whole environment is particularly comfortable, calling it an idyllic retreat is truly fitting.
PS: Vegetables and fruits are not for picking
5⃣️ Qianjiang Station Platform
It's a retro train head, great for photos, and children love to play on it

FLYNN SANTIAGO
Shenzhen's Chinese-style 'Alice in Wonderland'
You read that right! Shenzhen has a Chinese-style 'Alice in Wonderland', and it's directly accessible by subway! This place gives you a magical feeling, as if every time you enter a space, you're transported to another place with a completely different style, just like a dream.
The first floor features a mix of Chinese and European styles, where you can see ducks and geese that have been fed until they are plump and white. The second, third, and fourth floors each have different styles of European palace staircases, and each staircase is beautiful! But what surprised me even more is the Chinese-style pastoral architecture on the rooftop - a paradise on earth, where you can also feed various animals. With the breeze blowing, it feels like 'willow catkins drifting in the wind outside of Gusu'.
I've always wanted to come here, but I was worried about the crowds. However, when I came this time, I found that the popularity had passed, so there weren't many people, and now seems to be a more appropriate time to go.
This place is located at Qianjiang Art Center, No. 7 Bulan Road, Longgang District, Shenzhen. Admission is free, and the opening hours are from 9:00 to 17:00. If you take the subway, you can get off at Shiyaling Station, Exit J.
Tips:
✔️There is a clothing rental service on the first floor, where you can try different styles for photos.
✔️Remember to bring mosquito repellent when going to the rooftop to prevent mosquito bites.
✔️Make sure you have enough storage space on your phone so you don't miss the chance to take photos haha. 📷

Shenzhen—a quaint palace-style check-in spot
Have you been worrying lately about not knowing where to go for a check-in? The sun is scorching outside, and it occasionally rains, so you really should check out this hidden gem of an art gallery.
Admission is free, free, free! (Just follow the official WeChat account) It's worth saying three times because it's important.
It's like entering a wondrous and dreamy place.
Here, you can find a variety of buildings and displays from different times and places, and on the rooftop, there are orchards and zoos, with various crops growing in the vegetable garden.
Many exhibits are open for viewing—this is truly a magical world.
The ancient porches inside are said to be collected from various places by the owner and rebuilt in their original form.
There are both outdoor and indoor areas. Outdoors, there are buildings from different times and places mixed with some Western decorations, as well as vintage cars, carriages, and the like.
Indoors, there are probably 4 floors. Although each floor looks similar, the local decorations are different. The most photogenic spot has to be the art corridor; I took photos on both the third and fourth floors, but to sum it up—the fourth floor is the best.
Note: There are many companies working upstairs, so please do not disturb others by making loud noises during your visit.
