[2025 Chun'an Stay] Travel Guide for Qiandaohu Aden Hotel (Updated Apr)

#tripaway This has to be the best, peaceful hotel I have ever stayed in, in China, located just 40 minutes away (by fast train) from Hangzhou East to Qiandaohu, it is a getaway needed. This hotel has lots of bodies of water and trees surrounding it, and lots of peaceful walks the hotel covers a very big area and has a map to navigate , and connects to the lake where you can see the boats from near and far. It’s a peaceful sight!!! I was however disappointed with the front desk service , I spent over 30 minutes showing them my booking but they wanted to see more,they were asking me questions and making me fill in papers, they did not speak English so we were using our phones to translate so that was even more frustrated because some of the things would be lost in translation. Anyway, I finally got to my room after a while and I just immediately went to go shower and eat. They have a beautiful dining area overlooking their pool and the lake. Qiandao Lake Yitel Resort Hotel Faces the center of Qiandao Lake and occupies a peninsula in the resort area. Where the heart goes~ A true one island, one hotel 🌊 Experience the scenery of the lake and mountains~ A peaceful life! The hotel usually costs only CNY300–400, which is really good value. We booked it temporarily during the National Day holiday. The prices of hotels in Qiandao Lake were generally high, but it was still acceptable to pay over CNY1,000 a night for a deluxe lake view room here. Although it has been open for quite a few years, it is well-maintained and still has the merits of an established five-star hotel. The rooms are huge, over 50m², and the terraces are also very large, with good lake views! It also has its own pier, and the scenery is nice for a walk around the hotel 🍃🍃 There is an indoor and outdoor children's play area, table tennis, billiards, etc. There are several outdoor swimming pools, but you can't go in when it's cold. You can play and swim in the indoor heated swimming pool 🏊🏊 If you go on vacation during normal times, the value for money is quite high, and you can try the pool room. When going out to eat, the hotel sightseeing car can take you to the exit, or you can drive out. There are many places to eat within a few minutes' drive. The Qiandao Lake fish head is indeed well-known and very delicious!

I went to Qiandao Lake during the holidays, spent three days and two nights driving 🚗 many places in Chun'an, ate delicious fish heads, saw the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake, and spent a leisurely holiday 🏖️ Qiandao Lake we rented a car in advance, got off the high-speed rail in the parking lot 🅿️ to pick up the car directly, if you return the car is directly to the high-speed rail station's parking lot, 👍 very convenient. During the National Day holiday, I escaped the hustle and bustle of the city and chose to visit Qiandao Lake, which is just a 2-hour drive away. Without the noise of the city, embracing nature, it is indeed a great getaway for urban travelers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai to escape the fast-paced life. The resort hotel I chose this time is the Yidun Resort Hotel Qiandao Lake, which is located directly opposite the center of Qiandao Lake. It exclusively occupies a peninsula in the resort area, surrounded by the lake on three sides, offering a close-up view of the beautiful natural landscape of Qiandao Lake. It is truly an island with one hotel. Hotel Rooms The rooms are designed with a "new Chinese style" concept, fully integrating into the natural scenery, and each room is a scenic view in itself. The decoration is dominated by the color of wood, elegant and simple while maintaining a sense of quality. We stayed in a newly upgraded suite, which not only has ample space for the bed and sofa but also has a dedicated office area. The indoor appliances are smart, and the mirror in the bathroom even has a control screen that can play music and videos, which is really cool! We also visited two other room types, the king room and the twin room, both of which have excellent layouts. You can see Qiandao Lake from the balcony, truly deserving of the name "lake view room"! Hotel Facilities The hotel is equipped with a natural outdoor swimming pool, an indoor heated swimming pool, table tennis, billiards, spa, chess and card room, KTV, and a large basketball/tennis court. With complete facilities, you can eat, drink, and have fun within the hotel. The upgraded "Yidun Garden" also includes adventure island parent-child playground, Yishe Restaurant, and various styles of dining and entertainment facilities such as Nanhai Xiaochu. I've been to Qiandao Lake twice, each time for five or six days, and I've summarized this practical guide for four days and three nights, please keep it. This is the most beautiful hotel to watch the sunset at Qiandao Lake. The location is superb, built on an independent island, surrounded by water, the room is spacious and bright, you can watch the sunset lying on the bed. Put down your luggage and watch the sunset at the Sun Never Sets Afternoon Tea. The photos are very good, whether it's portraits or landscapes. After watching the sunset, have dinner at the hotel's restaurant. I recommend the fish head soup and fresh bamboo shoots stir-fried with bacon from Qiandao Lake. Day 2: Have breakfast at the hotel in the morning, then go to the Hilton Hotel pier to take a speedboat to Huangshan Tip (arrive before nine o'clock), the round trip takes about two to three hours. After getting off the boat, climb to the top of the mountain to see the viewing platform. You can overlook the business card of Qiandao Lake, 'The World is for the Public'. You can see many small islands scattered on the lake like pearls, which is very spectacular. Have fish for lunch at Fish Alley, recommended by locals. The taste is very good. Rent a mountain bike in the afternoon and ride to Shangjiangbu Bridge. This is also the most beautiful place to watch the sunset. The lake and mountains along the way are very comfortable with a gentle breeze. Watching the islands around you change from green to gold, the lake is like scattered silver, shining brightly, and you can't help but feel the vastness of the world and the insignificance of human beings. After watching the sunset, go to the very famous Chunyu Story in Qiandao Lake to continue eating fish. There are several dishes on the Hangzhou food list here, which are all delicious. Stay at the Original Island Hotel at night. It has the largest swimming pool in Qiandao Lake. The public space is very large. You can read, drink tea, and copy scriptures. The environment is antique. Day 3: Have breakfast at the hotel in the morning, then go to Jinxi Base to take a helicopter to overlook Qiandao Lake. The current discount price is only 198 yuan and it also includes a double kayak in Red Leaf Bay. It's very cost-effective. You must try it once when you come to Qiandao Lake. After the helicopter ride, go to Red Leaf Bay Water Park to paddle a kayak. The small boat floats on the green lake, surrounded by colorful forests, as if you are in a painting. If you like water projects, you can also try the water Ferrari here, which is exciting and thrilling. Go to Tianyu Mountain to watch the sunset in the afternoon. Remember to take the elevator to the viewing platform. The view is superb, just like a scene in an anime. After watching the sunset, go to 'Little Chongqing' Qilong Lane in Qiandao Lake. There are many local snacks that locals miss. You must try them. Stay at the Eden Hotel at night. It is also built on an island surrounded by water on three sides. The environment is elegant and the service is very good. Day 4: Go to the Time Tunnel in the morning to experience the changes of the four seasons in a day. Walking in the corridor and seeing the underwater ancient city around you, it feels like you have really traveled through the time tunnel. Then walk to the Dream Island opposite, the 360° light and shadow panorama, it feels like you have entered the metaverse, the colorful lights are beautiful and dreamy. Have lunch at Beer Town, the western food at the Experience Center is very good. After lunch, take a tour of the town, visit the Qiandao Lake Beer Museum next door, play go-karts, paddle kayaks, and visit the popular lighthouse. Then return. The Qiandao Lake Eton Resort Hotel is located in the beautiful central lake area of Qiandao Lake, just a few minutes' walk to the cruise terminal. This hotel has a prime location, surrounded by the lake on three sides, situated in the peninsula area, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty of Qiandao Lake. The lake view room we stayed in had a very wide view, and the beautiful scenery on the balcony was refreshing. In the early morning and at dusk, we strolled by the lake, admiring the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The staff at the buffet restaurant and the room staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The lobby bar of the hotel opens to the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake, which is almost the same as the scenery I have seen on the viewing platform. The pool has three outdoor ones and one indoor one. The view of the infinity pool is connected with the scenery of Qiandao Lake. We deliberately went swimming in the morning, dusk, and evening, and we could appreciate different beautiful scenery at each time period.
