However, the most expensive and high-end hotel in Qiandao Lake is not in the main city area, but on a lakeside peninsula near Wenyuan Lion City in the northwest direction more than 40 kilometers away from the main city. Anlu occupies the corners of two peninsulas, where the guest rooms are located on the larger peninsula that looks like the Westeros continent when viewed from the air. The rooms are made up of villas, with a yard on one side planted with bamboo or red maple leaves, a large bed inside the house leaning against a large window, long bamboo outside the window, and the green color is full when the sunlight comes through. We did a 3k hike in the centre of the city that is specifically designed for tourists so that they can have a good hiking experience and see parts of the area from a good view point. Getting There - By highspeed train 1:50 hours from Shanghai There are two train stations close by: Qiandaohu (photo 6&7) and Jiande. The first one is closer to the lake about 23 km. From there you can either take a shuttle bus to all mayor hotels for CNY 15 or a taxi for CNY 50-70. When you book a hotel be careful where it is . Some locations are remote and there is not much around or you are in the middle of Chun’an (photo 3-5)- a small town where are parks, restaurants, shops but also some traffic. Attractions - 1.
